TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday...Another Weekend Is Upon Us!

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 9:30 a.m., we have sunny, clear skies, cool temperatures, and NO rain thus far today. Today is a gorgeous day to the kick-off a GREAT weekend of trail riding!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Sunday night/Monday morning - 1 Inch of Rain
* Remainder of Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9:30 a.m.

Per our rain report above, other than the 1 inch of rain that we received at the very beginning of the week, that's about it. But also due to the cool/cold temperatures that we have been experiencing this week, we have also had some frost on the ground in the mornings giving us some added moisture.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Due to the cool temperatures and moisture we have received, trail conditions are good at the park. We do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. We do not anticipate dust to be a problem out on the trails either.

RED RIVER
Here we go again....strangely enough, the conditions of the Red River just don't seem to be changing much....the Red River is still bank to bank. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) is still fairly substantial.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek continues to recede but is still more than enough to prevent some riders from being able to get all the way down to the river. On the other hand, other riders are now able to ride in the creek all the way to the river by getting up on a small strip of land on the side of the bank of the creek. However, we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still a big possibility. Therefore, please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. Nevertheless, for sure, people will discover that they can ride the majority of the way there in the creek, but once they get down closer to the river, they will have to get out of the creek upon dry land and go the rest of the way if they desire to get to the river. Because the creek is very much rideable in the majority of it, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

In summary, current conditions at the park are very nice! With the cool temperatures, especially in the morning & the evenings/night, a sweatshirt/jacket is not a bad accessory to bring along. It's a great weekend to come ride at RRMT, Inc....great weather to ride during the day and then a perfect time of the year to build a cozy campfire! We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Final update for the evening as of 6 p.m...GREAT sunny riding weather today...NO rain today.

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the park is NOW observing fall/winter hours and thereby all riding ceases at 6 p.m.!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Can you say Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! If you were curious, the cold front made its way to Bulcher. Overnight thru right now (11:45 a.m.), looking at the rain gauge, we received a total of 1 inch of rain coupled with the cold temperatures that blew into our area. A winter coat feels good on right about now. Currently there is no sun, it is just a cold, dreary day, the temperature gauge is approximately 50 degrees right now, but it feels a lot colder, in the 40's, due to the wind.

Final update for the day as of 4:45 p.m....very cold and windy day today. We did not receive any more rain today.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Friday Morning To All Our Fellow Blog Readers...

Excited About The Upcoming Weekend Yet? WE ARE....This weather has made everyone around here absolutely excited about riding conditions for the weekend. Overnight we can report that we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 10:15 a.m., we have beautiful sunny, clear skies and AWESOME cool temperatures...don't know if it will even reach 80 degrees today...it might with the sun this afternoon, but right now, conditions are GREAT. We have had NO rain thus far today.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Sunday night - 8 Tenths of Rain
* Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--1 Tenth of Rain
* Wednesday--Little rain but accounted for in the 1 Tenth of Rain Above
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 10:15 a.m.

Per our rain report above, we have had more moisture which was some rain as well as due to the cool temperatures we have been enjoying, we have had dew on the ground in the mornings which has also helped by providing moisture.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge recap above, trail conditions are VERY nice at the park due to the moisture that we have received this week...but even with the moisture, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails because we needed the moisture so badly that the soil soaked it up immediately. Dust should not be a problem this weekend for trail riding.

RED RIVER
Yes, we know that we are starting to sound like a broken record on this one...but the Red River is still bank to bank with no sandbars, believe it or not...very unusual for this time of year. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) continues to recede but is still very prevalent.

In summary, current conditions at the park are PERFECT! If there ever was a weekend to get excited about riding...it should be this one! Trail and weather conditions have never been better. We are anticipating this great weather to continue throughout the upcoming weekend which is a major plus. In light of that, your WEEKEND lies ahead of you...only you can choose how to spend it...so we hope your destination this weekend is that tiny star (or no star at all in most cases) on the road map that says BULCHER, TEXAS. See you this weekend! And if we don't, we'll just enjoy the great weather ourselves!

Final update for the evening as of 9 p.m....GREAT weather today complete with cool temperatures, sunny skies, and NO rain today.

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the park is NOW observing fall/winter hours and thereby all riding ceases at 6 p.m.!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Thursday Everyone...

We know it's late...and we apologize that we are just now posting today's blog at 8:35 p.m...Let's see, first and foremost, an update from yesterday....yesterday (Wednesday), we ended up receiving 1 tenth of rain total. That 1 tenth of rain included both overnight's (Tuesday night) rain as well as from the little it rained yesterday (Wednesday) morning. By today, that moisture was long gone because it was so badly needed.

Last night (Wednesday night), we received NO rain. We also received NO rain at all today. Today we must brag...for the park staff that got to work outdoors at the park today...the park conditions were absolutely GORGEOUS...a little windy...but definitely fall weather...temperatures in the mid-70's even with the sun shining and it never got above 80 degrees or so...being able to ride and be able to be outdoors in weather like we had today...Life just doesn't get any better than this! So for those of you that missed out on today's weather...let's just hope this weather continues tomorrow as well as throughout the weekend....because cool temperatures like this make for SUPERB riding & camping & also NO dust in sight! Can you say "HELLO" weekend...we'll have your weekend outlook and complete park conditions tomorrow in our blog.

P.S. Yes, we know that we need some pictures to post...and we apologize for not having them lately...we've just been SUPER busy with working on coming park attractions for 2008! With Red Bull LMS just around the corner December 7 and 8 (which by the way, if you haven't booked your accommodations yet...you better get on it...because as always, this event is going to be AWESOME with even more spectator fun things planned this year) as well as new things planned for the park coming in 2008...RRMT, Inc. is striving to be your DESTINATION for OUTDOORS FAMILY RECREATIONAL fun!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

It's Wednesday...Half Way Thru Another Week!

We can report that overnight we received 1 tenth of rain. Currently this morning as of 8:45 a.m., a slow and steady rain is falling. Looks like it's going to be another dreary fall/winter-like day (no sun), but at least we are getting some moisture...will make for some PERFECT upcoming weekend conditions because the soil will be moist and thus have traction, and best of all...there will be no dust.

Bringing you the final update for the evening as of 5:35 p.m...well despite how the day started out, it actually ended up turning out quite differently...the rain ended up clearing out by late morning, the sun came out, and we ended up having somewhat warm temperatures. We will provide complete rainfall totals for today first thing in the morning when we post our blog....but long story short...riding conditions are absolutely AWESOME especially now with all this moisture...luckily for all of us...only a few more days until the weekend!

Good Day Ya'll...Happy Friday!

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of noon, we have AWESOME weather today...sunny clear skies, wonderful COOL fall temperatures, and NO rain thus far today. Another Exciting Weekend Is Upon Us....Let's Get Started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 12:00 p.m.

Per the rain report above, we have had a VERY DRY week! NO rain at all this week...the last rain we received was last Saturday, which wasn't much...only 1 tenth of rain.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge recap above, conditions are VERY DRY at the park...we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. Expect a lot of dust out on the trails.

RED RIVER
The same 'ole story again this week...Red River is still bank to bank and still relatively high in comparison to what it is usually like during this season. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) continues to recede.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek continues to recede but is still substantial enough to prevent some riders from being able to get all the way down to the river.

In summary, current conditions at the park are really nice. While we have had a dry week, we still have enjoyed really nice temperatures, particularly today. TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Friday Afternoon....Time To Start The Weekend!

Overnight we can report that we received NO rain. Currently as of 12:40 p.m., we have sunny clear skies, warm temperatures, and NO rain thus far today. Off to GREAT start for another weekend that is upon us.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--4 Tenths of Rain
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 12:40 p.m.

Per the rain report above, it is evident that we have really dry conditions at the park currently and that we anticipate will continue throughout the weekend.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge recap above, conditions are extremely DRY at the park...we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. Expect a lot of dust, especially when riding in big groups.

RED RIVER
Believe it or not, its October and the Red River is still bank to bank. It still continues to recede with each passing week. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) continues to get smaller and smaller.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek gets smaller and smaller as time passes. As a result, more riders are now able to ride in the creek all the way to the river by getting up on a small strip of land on the side of the bank of the creek. See picture above...However, we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still very much a possibility...See picture below...

Therefore, please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. Nevertheless, for sure, people will discover that they can ride the majority of the way there in the creek, but once they get down closer to the river, they will have to get out of the creek upon dry land and go the rest of the way if they are desiring to get to the river. Because the creek is very much rideable in the majority of it, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.
