TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hello Weekend...

Yesterday we enjoyed warm temperatures...temperatures topping out in the low 70's, but it didn't feel that warm due to the extreme wind. NO rain.

Overnight, NO rain. Currently this morning as of 9:20 a.m., we have clear, sunny skies, and temperatures already in the upper 50's. We are expecting temperatures to get up into the low 70's again today. We have received NO rain thus far today.

The Outlook on the Weekend Looks Fabulous! If you haven't already made your weekend outdoor plans, you better...because if not, you'll regret spending another weekend indoors when you could be outside enjoying this AWESOME Texas weather!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9:20 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) Another dry week in Bulcher...so dust should be expected. Furthermore, as a result of our dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
Yes, the same 'ole story with the river...The Red River is bank to bank in some places, but then very narrow in other places (but for the most part, the river has really gone down), which has allowed the water to be split which has created various sandbars. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) has now pretty much receded (since we've been so dry). But even due to our dry conditions, always be on the lookout for that occasional unexpected area of quicksand that lurks in the creek...you need always be careful to avoid any quicksand because getting stuck is always a possibility even when you least expect it.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek is extremely minimal at this time. Riders will find that they can ride in the creek the entire way to the river currently. Similarly, since riders can ride in the creek the entire way to the river, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

BURN BAN
Just as an update...Yes, we are still currently under a BURN BAN. The burn ban still remains in effect for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. While camping is permitted, RRMT, Inc. is strictly enforcing the burn ban & thus NO OUTDOOR FIRES are permitted under any circumstances!

Final update for the evening as of 6:40 p.m....beautiful day in Bulcher today...a great start to the weekend...warm temperatures and NO rain.

Today is the last day of February and March is just around the corner...if you've ever got spring fever, you should have it this weekend...the weather forecast for the weekend looks GORGEOUS and there is no better way to spend your weekend...DESTINATION ~ Bulcher, Texas!

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Howdy!

Overnight, we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 5:25 a.m., it is still dark outside, but we are anticipating another terrific day in Bulcher today. We are anticipating sunny clear skies and temperatures even warmer than yesterday, approximately in the upper 60's. The only thing is that today, we are expecting the wind to be back, so not for sure what effect that will have on the way it actually feels outside. But nevertheless, should be a GREAT day for riding if you are lucky enough to have the day off! We have received NO rain thus far today.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Finally Friday!

If you wondered how yesterday ended up turning out...a couple words describe it best...DREARY & COLD! We only ended up getting a few sprinkles of rain...nothing measurable to report.

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this afternoon, we are off to a better start than this morning...this morning it was dreary and overcast and cold. But currently as of 12:35 p.m., the sun is trying to make its way out and it is starting to warm up...thankfully. Even though we anticipate it to warm-up a little, no big warm-up is anticipated for today. We have received NO rain thus far today. It's already afternoon & the weather is perking up...so let's get this weekend started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Over the previous weekend, we received 6 tenths of rain on Friday night and 1 inch and 1 tenth of rain on Saturday.
*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- A few sprinkles of rain but nothing measurable to report.
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 12:35 p.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) It was a dry week for us despite a few sprinkles we did receive on Thursday. Currently dust is not that bad, but it is to be anticipated with warmer temperatures we are expecting for the upcoming weekend. Similarly, as a result of our dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
The Red River is bank to bank in some places, but then very narrow in other places, which has allowed the water to be split which has created various sandbars.

BURN BAN
We have received numerous inquiries this week about the burn ban so we just wanted to address this issue here on our blog...despite what little moisture we received last weekend, we still remain for the most part, very dry up in our area. Thus, the burn ban still remains in effect for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. While camping is permitted, RRMT, Inc. is strictly enforcing the burn ban & thus NO OUTDOOR FIRES are permitted under any circumstances!

For the most part, its been a dreary and cold February week here on the home front in Bulcher. But with a very sunny and warm (upper 60's) forecast on the horizon, the weekend looks fabulous! So whatever your plans for the weekend are...hope Bulcher's in them. Hope your weekend is great!

Final update for the evening as of 6:30 p.m...nice day, but a little on the chilly side. NO rain.

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Saturday Morning!

Yesterday's recap...cold and foggy, but NO rain yesterday.

Overnight...believe it or not, we received 6 tenths of rain! Currently this morning as of 9:25 a.m., we have cloudy, foggy skies, and it is currently raining and thundering. We have temperatures above freezing currently. Looks like it is going to be a dreary winter day. The moisture is definitely needed and will definitely help the soil at our park and not make things so dusty. We'll have to keep you posted on the amount of moisture we receive though. If you are looking for a comprehensive report on park trail conditions, please refer to yesterday's (Friday's) blog.

Final update for the day as of 4 p.m....WET, WET, WET! It has rained pretty much on and off all day long today making for a really dreary cold day. As of now, we have received 1 inch and 1 tenth total today. Furthermore, it is currently misting so we'll have to update you in the morning on how much mositure we receive overnight.

In addition to the TORO Race at our facility this weekend, we are OPEN this weekend both today, Saturday, February 16 and tomorrow, Sunday, February 17 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday!

Yesterday turned out to be a nice day...probably the nicest one we'll have for at least a couple of days...windy, but sunny skies, and NO rain.

Overnight....NO rain. Currently this morning as of 8:35 a.m., we have cloudy, overcast skies and NO rain thus far today. We currently have temperatures in the high 30's...not expecting that warm of temperatures...in fact, we're expecting falling temperatures, but we'll have to wait and see. It's the weekend, even though it seems like it may be a dreary one, let's get started.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:35 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
Most of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time. Additionally due to the TORO race that is at our facility this weekend, additional areas have been closed off for the race only) It was a very dry week. Because we are experiencing dry conditions, dust is to be anticipated. Furthermore, as a result of our dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
The Red River is bank to bank in some places, but then very narrow in other places, which has allowed the water to be split which has created various sandbars.

As many of you already know...rain is in the forecast for the weekend. Who knows if we will see any...so many times, we get missed. So we'll just have to wait and see. But one thing's for sure, we are so dry here, that if we do get some moisture, our soil will soak it right up and should make for even better riding conditions.

Just a reminder that a burn ban still remains in effect for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. Thus, while camping is permitted, RRMT, Inc. is strictly enforcing the burn ban & thus NO OUTDOOR FIRES are permitted under any circumstances!

And finally one last reminder, the Red River Dirt Riders will be hosting a TORO race at RRMT, Inc. this weekend on Sunday, February 17. In addition to the TORO, RRMT, Inc. will also be open to the general public for riding on Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thus, the race has no effect on general park riding for the upcoming weekend. Not sure what's in store for us starting tomorrow and thru the weekend, but we'll keep you posted. We have received NO rain thus far today.

Just a reminder...the Red River Dirt Riders will be hosting a TORO race at RRMT, Inc. this weekend on Sunday, February 17. TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Morning...

Yesterday was absolutely delightful...temperatures in the 80's and PERFECT riding weather. NO rain yesterday.

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 8:50 a.m., we have cloudy overcast skies and are receiving a few sprinkles of rain. We'll have to keep you posted if it ends up amounting to much. But we are in such bad need of rain that even if we end up getting a lot, it will help make riding conditions that much better and traction perfect! No sun yet today, but nevertheless looks like a great day with temperatures already around 65 degrees.

Final update for the day as of 7 p.m....well today we received rain sprinkle showers off and on...the sun would come out for a little while and then it would go behind the clouds and it (rain) would sprinkle for a while. Then it would stop and clear up and then a little bit later, do it all again. So all in all, okay day, with temperatures in the high 50's-60's, but very windy. Thankfully the rain sprinkles helped but they really did not amount to much of anything measurable to report.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Friday Afternoon...Ahhhh...At Last...A Little Closer To The Weekend!

NO rain overnight. Currently this afternoon as of 12:35 p.m., we have clear, sunny skies, and temperatures barely breaking 50 degrees. A little less windy today thankfully. We have received NO rain thus far today. Looks like we're on our way to the start of a very sunny weekend...so let's get started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 12:35 p.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.)Very dry and windy this week...we are in much need for moisture. Because we are very dry, dust is to be expected. Furthermore, as a result of our dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
The Red River is bank to bank in some places, but then very narrow in other places, which has allowed the water to be split which has created various sandbars.

In summary, it's been a cold and windy week...with a good weekend forecast on the horizon (sunny and 60 degree temperatures), we all could use some R & R! Whether you've been riding RED RIVER for years, or whether this weekend is your first time out to Bulcher, one thing's for sure, an ADVENTURE always awaits you at RRMT, Inc.! HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND!

P.S. Due to extremely dry and windy conditions, please remember that a burn ban still remains in effect for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. Thus, while camping is permitted, RRMT, Inc. is strictly enforcing the burn ban & thus NO OUTDOOR FIRES are permitted under any circumstances!

Final update for the evening as of 6 p.m...sunny, but cool today. NO rain.

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!
