TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday Blog Readers...
NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 6:45 a.m., we have a current temperature of 67 degrees. We have foggy conditions out this morning, but nevertheless, are anticipating sunny skies by day's end. We're only expecting upper 80's for highs today. We have received NO rain thus far today. With great temperatures all week long...we're excited and ready to kick off the weekend...

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--1/2 of an inch of rain
*Monday overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--2 inches of rain
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- 3/4 of an inch of rain
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 6:45 a.m.

* With temperatures in the 80's this week, coupled with some moisture, it has been a great week for riding Bulcher. The upcoming weekend looks equally as nice...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN..on both the North & East sides of the park EXCEPT the Bill's Woods & New Property Areas. Per our other blog announcement, these areas are closed for upcoming ENDURO & TORO race preparation. Mountain Creek is back to its normal level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River where we advise riders to use caution. No problem crossing Mountain Creek at this time. With the recent moisture this week, the dust has been settled....it's the perfect time to ride. Due to heavy rains back in April, just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low at this time. There still remains some lurking murky water being pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek from the river, so watch out for it...getting stuck is possible.

CREEK
While riding in Mountain Creek is possible and crossing the creek is also possible...please use caution when in the creek, especially further down the creek toward the river. It is very possible to sink your recreational vehicle in the creek due to quicksand if not careful. Riding in the creek is at your own risk. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

NO BURN BAN for Cooke County or thus at RRMT, Inc.

Don't spend another weekend around the house working on that never-ending chore list...get out & go ride...now's the time & the weather & trails are great!
See you soon...

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend... tomorrow, Saturday, August 1 & Sunday, August 2 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.

Have a great weekend...

RRMT, Inc. Staff

P.S. More construction is going on today, Friday, in regards to the new electrical RV sites for members that RRMT, Inc. is currently working on...as a result, I hope to have an update on the status of this new upcoming amenity on Monday.

REMINDER: All 2009 RRMT, Inc. Memberships are now on sale at a pro-rated price! See us for details.
NEW MEMBER RESTROOM/SHOWER COMPLEX DEFACED ON 3/16/09

It is with great unfortunately that we have to make this post, but all of the members of RRMT, Inc. need to know what occurred the afternoon of Mon. March 16th. Thanks to a RRMT, Inc.'s member’s son & his 2 guests...on their visit Monday, our brand new member restroom/shower complex was defaced. After RRMT, Inc. Staff discovered the mess in the men's restroom, then our staff started going around the park piecing together what occurred and who on the property yesterday was responsibility for this great injustice to our new amenity. First these individuals smeared blue gel on the walls. We spent hours Monday evening and late Monday night trying to clean the walls off only to find that this blue gel has now stained the walls & will not come off completely. Furthermore, then another member witnessed these three individuals purposely throwing their dirty clothes up against the walls & then ceiling in the restroom! When the other (witness) member told them to stop, they did not.

We want to let everyone know that these "vandals" have been caught. This member & his son & his two guests are now an EX-MEMBER and EX-GUESTS who will never be allowed back on our property, not even as visitors....BARRED FROM THE PARK FOREVER! Furthermore, members can be rest assured that RRMT, Inc. will be pursuing further action against these individuals just beyond barring them from the park. This is a serious incident...RRMT, Inc. will NOT tolerate this & we know all other members who's dues helped pay for this nice facility will agree and do NOT want these type of members tearing up the brand new facility that many of you have waited for, for too long! Additionally, this facility is brand new...it has only been open since the weekend of March 7 & 8, and for something like this to occur, is uncalled for, stupid, and just senseless!

In the future, we advise members to please refer to their new membership and/or renewal packets for 2009...we sent information in your packets regarding this new facility and it will take member's help to be sure it is monitored. Our members are our eyes and ears in this new facility when we cannot be everyone all the time. We have been conducting periodic checks in this facility and will continue to do so; however, we need your help. If members ever see something unusual or not appropriate going on in this new facility, it needs to be reported immediately to our park office. Don't let others mess this up for everyone!! Because if not, and members & or their guests continue to destroy this facility, what will happen then is that it will take more members dues to continue to keep this facility running and then that ultimatley means that is less we can spend on other new park projects...and we know that is not what everyone wants and not what we want either...we want to be able to provide more and new improvements to the park, but it is with member's help that they be taken care of.

Below are some pictures for the RRMT, Inc. Community to take in & view so you may see what three of your now EX-MEMBERS's EX-GUESTS did yesterday to our new restroom/shower facility.

* Here's various pictures of the blue gel that was spread all over the walls in the men's restrooms. It was smeared literally everywhere in the men's restrooms...in the showers, in the restroom part, you name it, they smeared it everywhere.

Here's a picture even showing that this stuff was smeared under the hand dryers...this stuff was everywhere on the walls in the men's section of our new complex.

What was interesting about this incident is that the people that did it...left the evidence of what was used to deface the walls all strung out on the shower & restroom floors...

Here's some snapshots from the walls & ceiling where these individuals decided that they would purposely take their wet, muddy clothes & rub them up and down on the walls & then sling them up against the ceilings...

We hope after looking at these photos...this makes you mad, angry, disgusted & frustrated enough to make you join us in the cause to help us be sure that something like this never happens again not only with this complex (member shower/restroom), but with other new amenities in the future that we will be providing to members. Furthermore, by helping us in this cause, RRMT, Inc. will be able to weed out people who truly do not belong in our member program & don't deserve to enjoy nice, new amenities such as this and those to come.

* Additionally, this incident also serves as a lesson for all members and something everyone can reflect on going forward...MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GUESTS! In this case, the actual member did not do this; however, the member's son (which was his guest) and then 2 other guests committed this injustice to our facility. But that member when entering our park immediately became responsible for those guests. In the future, members want to keep in mind who they bring as guests because at the end of the day, if they come in with you & claim to be your guests on your account, you are going to be responsible for them!*

RRMT, Inc. Staff
RRMT, INC. MEMBER SHOWER/RESTROOM COMPLEX NOW OPEN

** RRMT, Inc.'s NEW Member Restroom/Shower Complex opened the weekend of March 7 & 8 and is now open for member use. The entire facility (restrooms & showers) is complete now & is already being enjoyed by members & their guests...thus, this completes the construction of this new facility.

Many members have been waiting a long time for this new amenity...It's all open now...ENJOY!

Below are some inside pictures of this great new facility for RRMT, Inc. Members & their guests.

**Please note that this new park facility is only accessible to members and their guests. Codes to access this member only facility can be obtained at the park office upon sign-in.**

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hello Cloudy Monday...

Hi Everyone...while we usually go straight to weather on this blog...we have a couple of important announcements to make first thing this morning.

If you haven't checked out our events page lately on our website, you may want to glance at it....we now have more scheduled and confirmed events at the park during the upcoming fall riding season that is quickly approaching. Thus, as a result, there will be some upcoming park closures in the fall due to these races. Please check these dates out so you are "in the know". Furthermore, as a result of the upcoming ENDURO and TORO RACES at the park in the fall, trail preparation is now underway particularly over in the Bill's Woods & New Property areas. Thus as of Sunday, July 26, access to the Bill's Woods & New Property areas has now been closed. These areas will not re-open until sometime in November after preparation as well as enduro/toro race cleanup has been conducted. All other areas at the park are OPEN to general public riding & will not be affected by race preparation.

Now onto weather...NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 10 a.m., we have cloudy/overcast skies and it is currently misting rain. We have not received enough yet to even measure, but we'll keep you posted if it ends up being enough to report. Without the sun today...we're enjoying cooler temperatures...75 degrees at the current moment. While we may end up getting some thunderstorms today...we're only expecting highs today to be in the low to mid 80's. Can you say...yeah!!!

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN..on both the North & East sides of the park. Mountain Creek is back to its normal level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River where we advise riders to use caution. No problem crossing Mountain Creek at this time. All trails are dry & dust is to be expected. Due to heavy rains back in April, just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER

It is very possible to sink your recreational vehicle in the creek due to quicksand if not careful. Riding in the creek is at your own risk. There is a light mist of rain currently falling this morning. While it is cloudy this morning, the skies are light colored, so it looks as though the misting rain may be soon coming to a stop & clearing out of here, but we'll have to wait and see.
