Happy Turkey Day...
The Holiday Weekend Is Underway Now...Hope Everyone Is Having A Great One!
NO rain yesterday or overnight. Everyone at the park today enjoyed a beautiful day. With pleasant temperatures and sunny skies, it was a fantastic Thanksgiving! We received NO rain thus far today.
The outlook for tomorrow, Friday, thru the weekend looks great, so without further hesitation...let's get this holiday weekend started!
RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

Should come as no surprise...another very dry week at RRMT, Inc.
TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Due to another extremely dry week and no measurable precipitation in months, dusty conditions are to be anticipated.
RED RIVER
The Red River is down and at a very low level at this time. While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.
CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.
Don't forget RRMT, Inc. will be open for the long upcoming weekend to accommodate your holiday plans. In observation of the Thanksgiving holiday, we will be OPEN tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 28, as well as Saturday, Nov. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 30. We will have park hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing fall/winter park hours.
