TGIF...Thank Goodness It's Friday....Hooray
NO rain overnight. This morning as of 9:30 a.m., we have a current temperature of 51 degrees. We have received NO rain thus far today. We are expecting a fantastic day....upper 60's today and with the bright sunny skies we are already enjoying now...we just might hit that 70 degree mark again today.....GORGEOUS Texas February weather...no doubt! Without hesitation, we're ready to get the weekend underway...
RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

Another week...NO rain as you can see...still very very dry here.
TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. There's dust...so just expect it. And since we've been so dry...don't expect any mud puddles out on the trails. We've forgotten what those even are!
RED RIVER
The same 'ole story...just another day...The Red River still remains at a low level at this time. While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.
CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.
Please note that due to extremely dry conditions...a BURN BAN is in EFFECT for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. NO open pit campfires or open outdoor grilling permitted.
The weekend is now upon us...it's gonna be beautiful weather, so don't spend another weekend working on that chore list around the house...reward yourself...GO RIDING...after all, you deserve it! See you in Bulcher soon.
