TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

It's Friday...and it's gonna be a GREAT weekend! RRMT, Inc. is the place to be....Overnight we can report that we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 8 a.m. we have clear skies as the sun is trying to make its way out...also, we have had NO rain thus far today. Looks as though today is going to be a very nice day and be a great start to our very exciting weekend ahead!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:00 a.m.

If you see a pattern here, its because there is one...very dry this week with NO rain at all. But despite the dry conditions, the weather has been really nice at the park this week and we anticipate it to be great weather throughout the upcoming weekend.

We do apologize...there are no pictures of park terrain this week. We have been extremely busy preparing for this weekend that there was just no time. We hope that you find that all of tomorrow's event will make up for it.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge recap above, conditions are DRY at the park...we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. Dust is to be anticipated.

RED RIVER
It's another week and the Red River is still bank to bank, but yet still receding. Because the river continues to recede, the amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) continues to get smaller and smaller as each week passes.

CREEK
As stated, the amount of water that is being backed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek from the Red River is getting smaller and smaller with each passing day. Each week, more and more riders are now able to ride in the creek all the way to the river by getting up on a small strip of land on the side of the bank of the creek. However, we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still very much a possibility...so please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. Nevertheless, for sure, people will discover that they can ride the majority of the way there in the creek, but once they get down closer to the river, they will have to get out of the creek upon dry land and go the rest of the way if they are desiring to get to the river. Because the creek is very much rideable in the majority of it, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

In summary, conditions are currently nice at the park & we are anticipating another great weekend at the park.
