TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday...Another weekend is upon us...time to start thinking about riding!

Overnight we can report that we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 8:25 a.m., we have sunny skies, great temperatures, and NO rain thus far today. Today looks like it is going to be an AWESOME day for some riding!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Monday--4 Tenths of Rain
overnight-- 3 Tenths of Rain
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:25 a.m.

Thus, other than the brief rain showers we got in the earlier part of the week, we have had relatively dry conditions this week.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. For the most part, conditions are pretty dry at the park...we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the trails. Dust is to be expected by nature though since we haven't had any rain lately to settle the dust. Enjoy pictures below of current trail conditions.

RED RIVER
It's the same 'ole story...the Red River is still bank to bank, still slowly receding. But since the river is still bank to bank, the river still has a little water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it joins the Red River.

CREEK
The amount of water that is being backed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek from the Red River is getting smaller and smaller each week. Much like last week, a few riders are now able to ride in the creek all the way to the river by getting up on a small strip of land on the side of the bank of the creek. However, we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still very much a possibility...so please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. Nevertheless, for sure, people will discover that they can ride the majority of the way there in the creek, but once they get down closer to the river, they will have to get out of the creek upon dry land and go the rest of the way if they are desiring to get to the river. Because the creek is very much rideable in the majority of it, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

In summary, conditions are really nice at the park currently..good trail conditions coupled with this PERFECT Fall Weather...there is no better combination. Not only is riding awesome, but camping out during this time of the year...nothing compares. We are anticipating yet another good weekend for riding if these current weather conditions continue which we are expecting. Thus, Fall has arrived...don't spend another weekend at home, cooped up inside reading this blog wishing you were at the park riding...load up the bike, grab the gear, and head for Bulcher...because Texas Living Here is King! Start your Off-Road Adventure this weekend with everything Bulcher has to offer: breathtaking bluff views, wildlife, and a great feel for a true Texas Ranch complete with oil wells & armadillos...See Ya Around YA'LL!
