Good Friday Afternoon!
Hope everyone is just excited about the weekend as we are...We're expecting great weather! NO rain yesterday or overnight. This afternoon as of 1:45 p.m., we have a current temperature of 82 degrees. It is bright and sunny out this afternoon as we are expecting temperatures to top out in the upper 80's by late this afternoon. We have received NO rain thus far today.
RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) We've not received any moisture in the last couple of weeks, so as a result, dust is to be anticipated.
RED RIVER
Much like last week, the river still remains up at this time. Thus, (as a result) there is more water being pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek. So be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand in the creek that may lurk as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.
CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. However, be careful when riding at the end of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River (due to backed up mud/water). But for the most part, the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

* REMINDER: This upcoming weekend will be our last weekend of spring/summer park hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On October 1, 2008 - We begin fall/winter park hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

With each passing day, more and more headway is being made on the construction of this new RRMT, Inc. amenity.
