TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Already Friday...

NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 7 a.m., we have a current temperature of 56 degrees. The sun is already out this morning as we are in for a beautiful day today with temperatures in the upper 80's for highs. If you haven't checked out the weekend forecast yet, you're missing out...as the upcoming weekend looks absolutely fabulous! Time to start thinking about the weekend...here's your usual Friday comprehensive report.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 7 a.m.

* NO moisture this week in the Red River Valley. In fact, we haven't seen measurable rainfall in our area since May 15.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN...on both the North (Bill's Woods) & East (Pete's Gate) sides of the park. Mountain Creek is now down to its usual level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River. Riders can cross Mountain Creek with ease now, but we advise everyone to still use caution as the terrain is especially different down in the creek due to the heavy rainfall we received in April. All trails are very dry & dust is to be expected. Due to big rains a month ago, we are still advising people of the following: Just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER
Red River has receded some, but still remains extremely higher than usual at this time & bank to bank. NO sandbar. As a result of the high level of the river, a lot of water from the river has been pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek, preventing riders from riding all the way down Mountain Creek to the River.

CREEK
While riding in Mountain Creek is possible and crossing the creek is also possible...please use caution when in the creek, especially further down the creek toward the river. It is very possible to sink your recreational vehicle in the creek due to quicksand if not careful. Riding in the creek is at your own risk. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

NO BURN BAN for Cooke County or thus at RRMT, Inc.

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend...tomorrow, Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.

Also, we wanted to let everyone know that we still have a variety of ATV T-Shirts Available For Sale! We've slashed prices in order to sell out of these t-shirts so we can make room for new park inventory. These t-shirts are 1 t-shirt for $6.00 or 2 t-shirts for $10.00. Help us sell out of these t-shirts so we can get new park merchandise! These ATV T-Shirts are on sale at this new price until we sell out!

Furthermore, we also have our park caps & koozies on sale....caps are now $8.00 and koozies are $2.00. These items are on sale at these new prices until we sell out!

Here's to a great weekend...
