Finally The Weekend...
Believe it or not...rain overnight..1 1/2 inches. Where was all this rain back when we were dry & really needed it...gees. This morning as of 8:15 a.m., we have a current temperature of 66 degrees. It is cloudy and overcast this morning...NO sun. We are expecting to enjoy somewhat cooler temperatures today as highs for the day are only supposed to be in the upper 60's. The forecast for the Red River Valley is calling for additional evening thunderstorms, but we'll just have to wait and see. It is NOT raining now & we have received NO rain thus far today. Couple of weekend reminders:
* All of our trails on both the North (Bill's Woods) & East (Pete's Gate) sides of the park are back open. However, when accessing trails on the East side of Mountain Creek, we advise that you use extreme caution when crossing the creek. We highly recommend that you be very selective of where you choose to cross Mountain Creek at. Only cross at low water levels and after looking the area over first prior to crossing. It is still very mucky in the creek so use caution if you choose to ride in the creek and especially if you choose to cross the creek to the East Side of the park. Crossing the creek is at your own risk. For those that attempt to get in the creek, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand throughout Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!
* Just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water can really change the terrain of trails, so use extreme caution when riding even on trails that you were once familiar.

RRMT, Inc. is OPEN this weekend, today Saturday May 9 & tomorrow Sunday May 10 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.
**Please note that the Member Restroom/Shower Complex is OPEN this weekend.
However, this weekend only...this complex will be CLOSING early on Sunday May 10 at 6 p.m. The complex is closing early on this Sunday for cleaning as the new complex will be CLOSED Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12 for repair from the defacing that occurred back in March. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We anticipate the complex will be back open on Wednesday, May 13 but we will have to keep you posted because it will not re-open until all repairs have been made and all paint has completely dried. We look forward to getting this complex back to its original condition for members & their guests to enjoy. With that being said, we would like to re-emphasize that this facility is something that was paid for with MEMBERS' DUES...thus, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF IT! FURTHERMORE, MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GUESTS WHILE THEY ARE ON ALL RRMT, INC. PROPERTY.
