TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Finally Friday...

And everyone applauds that at last the weekend is finally upon us. NO rain overnight. This morning as of 11 a.m., we have a current temperature of 25 degrees. It is cloudy and overcast this morning as we are anticipating cloudy conditions throughout the day...don't anticipate seeing the sun today while only expecting highs in the low 40's by day's end. We have received NO rain thus far today. Even though today is shaping up to be a very cold and dreary day...luckily the weekend outlook looks promising. And without further hesitation, we're ready to get the weekend started.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 11:00 a.m.

Still very dry here in the Red River Valley this week. Due to such drastic dry conditions...we are still under a burn ban!

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Expect dust...we're very dry here!

RED RIVER
Same 'ole story with the river...NO rain in months = Red River still remains at a low level. While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.
