TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Finally Friday...

NO rain yesterday or overnight. This afternoon as of 1:30 p.m., we have a current temperature of 62 degrees. It is sunny this afternoon and while not cloudy/smoky outside, you are able to smell smoke. We do not have any fires in Bulcher, but there are fires in nearby Montague County which is causing the smoky smell in our area. We are expecting temperatures in the upper 60's by day end today. We have received NO rain thus far today. But oh, how we need the rain. If you haven't started your weekend yet, it's time to now!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Still no moisture this week...thus expect dust with no mud puddles.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low level at this time. ** While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. ** Furthermore, please note that RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Please note that the BURN BAN is now back in effect for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. NO OPEN PIT FIRES ALLOWED.

* Please note that today,Friday (Good Friday - April 10), RRMT, Inc. considers to be a holiday, so we are OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC (Visitors) as well as Members & their Guests TODAY...NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED!

RRMT, Inc. will also be OPEN this weekend, tomorrow, Saturday April 11 & Sunday April 12 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.

On the other hand, RRMT, Inc. will NOT be OPEN to the general public on Monday, April 13th (Some schools, etc. consider as..."Easter Monday"). The only way to obtain access for riding/camping this day is to be a member & make an appointment for this day.

For those making Bulcher, Texas their DESTINATION this weekend...the weather is fabulous for being outdoors!
