TRAILS/WEATHER CONDITIONS
Good Morning...Yes, it is officially morning now...even though it is early...just wanted to have this posted as soon as possible for any of you early birds who wanted to get up early and see what conditions were like at RRMT, Inc. in case you wanted to jump in the truck and head out early to get to Bulcher by 8 a.m. when we open.
If you thought we forgot about posting the pictures...WRONG...No Such Luck..it was just super busy yesterday (Friday) so we are just now getting around to posting them...thanks for your patience.
All of these pictures were taken yesterday, Friday August 3....these pictures can be used as a guide for park conditions because we do not anticipate any weather changes....and if there are any weather changes...we will do our best to keep you updated.
Anyways, today was a beautiful day....great weather that we anticipate to continue throughout the weekend....so everyone is in for some good trail riding if you venture out to Bulcher....
Here are the photos from today's weather...sunny, clear skies....
These first two pictures just showcase the nice weather we had today...the first one is from the park office...looking down FM 373...the second picture was taken from the top of the 2nd gate entrance looking across to the Red Bull Barn...which you can see in the distance.
As previously stated...even though we had more rain this past week than last week (which still wasn't much at all)...the terrain is still very much dry and conditions are dusty. Below are pictures of different trails that we took pictures of today. You will not have to worry about puddles out on the trails, just DUST...enjoy!
Per the photos...it is dry out on the trails...the only puddles we did encounter on our ride today...we snapped photos of...here were the two small puddles we rode by...
Next...onto pictures of the creek & Red River...first...pictures of the creek are below. The majority of the creek can be ridden in with no problem. But as you get closer to the Red River in the creek...it becomes very muddy. It is advisable that you stay out of these areas of the creek due to the mud and the high potential of getting stuck. Since you are able to ride in the creek a long way...the creek can be crossed in a variety of places to access ALL trails on the property on both the North and East sides.
Today many enjoyed the sand pit area....this will be a favorite place for riders to enjoy this weekend...
And for those of you wondering about the Red River...it is still bank to bank per the pictures below and is still backing some water up into the mouth of Mountain Creek. But if you look in the first picture, you can see a sandbar starting to form due to all these warm, sunny, dry conditions.
Therefore, per all the pictures...conditions are great & riding should be excellent this weekend...so we hope that many of you can come visit our facility in Bulcher, Texas to experience country atmosphere at its finest....sunflowers, wildlife, the great outdoors, etc....
It doesn't get any better than this...by nature this facility is gorgeous! Hope you can come enjoy what Bulcher, Texas has to offer this weekend.
We will be OPEN this weekend...both today, Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and tomorrow, Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Happy Trails,
