TRAILS/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Morning!

As of 5 a.m. this morning, we have awoken to the sound of rain. At this early time, it's hard to tell how much it has showered and what the forecast and outlook is like for today. Hopefully this is just an early morning shower and then things will clear up, but it is impossible to tell until later on in the day when it becomes light outside.

As of 10 p.m. this evening...those of you that did not make it out to the park today missed out on a good day for some trail riding. The sun came out, but towards the afternoon it turned pretty humid. Overnight and early this morning, we ended up getting 1/2 inch of rain. The rain was enough to moisten the trails and keep all the dust away. There are still random puddles in some of the trails, but for the most part, riding was really good.

Believe it or not, the waters in the Red River have actually receded. The water in the creek however, has risen making crossing the creek difficult in most areas. Yet, since the majority of our trails are on the north side of the property, there are still plenty of areas to ride without even crossing any water.

Happy Trails,
