RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP

* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9:30 a.m.

Another dry week in Bulcher. The forecast is calling for a small percentage of rain this weekend, but until we see it, we're not betting on it. Due to the extremely dry conditions...we are still under a burn ban!

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Due to no rain in weeks (a.k.a. months), expect dust.

RED RIVER
Red River still remains at a very low level at this time. While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Please note that 2009 RRMT, Inc. Memberships are now on sale! Feel free to mail in your application for 2009 to our park office or just bring it to the park office on your next trip to RRMT, Inc. TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday...On This Gorgeous Morning!

NO rain overnight. This morning as of 10:30 a.m., we have clear, beautiful sunny skies...oh, how its gonna to be one wonderful day. This weather will put you in the mood for some riding. Thankfully all that fog and cloudy skies from the past week are finally cleared out of here....whoooooa! As of currently, we have a temperature of 59 degrees. And believe it or not, temperatures are supposed to get up into the low 70's today. We have received NO rain thus far today.

While the rest of the country is snowed in...the great thing about Texas is that we have such mild weather...crazy how it changes so dramatically, but awesome at the same time...one of the great reasons RRMT, Inc. is the perfect destination year around!

Thought you might enjoy seeing a picture of snow at RRMT, Inc. Oddly enough, it does happen, but very rarely. This was a couple of years back...so don't worry...no snow today! It's gonna be 70 degrees!

The holidays are next week, so relieve some stress and get out to Bulcher this weekend for some riding. Tomorrow's (Saturday) weather is looking absolutely fabulous (upper 70's anticipated)...weather like this in December is priceless!

All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Due to no precipitation again this week...still dry and dusty at the park and on all trails.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Monday Morning!

BURRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Cold, chilly temperatures this morning...wow, how a day makes a difference. Yesterday....NO rain & an absolutely gorgeous day at RRMT, Inc. where people at the park enjoyed temperatures in the low 70's. Overnight, NO rain, but that cold front sure did blow in. As of 9 a.m., we have a current temperature here along the Red River of 21 degrees. It is cloudy and overcast this morning and with the gusty winds/wind chill, it currently feels like it is 7 degrees here this morning! If you don't have the winter coat, mittens, and hat out, you better find it fast because you are going to need it! We have received NO rain or any other type of precipiation here thus far today. It is cold here now and the forecast is calling for cold temperatures the next couple of days, but it looks as though this cold spell may be short-lived as they are calling for nice temperatures toward the end of the week/weekend, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Hope Everyone's Week Is Off To A Fabulous Start!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Friday Morning...

Did you miss us...we'll we're back! Let's see...a lot to catch up on. First and foremost, it has been a very chilly week here in the Red River Valley. Most days we haven't even seen the sun and instead it has been cloudy and overcast. Also, another thing people are probably wondering about is if we received any precipitation over the last couple of days....the answer is not surprising....NO. Not a drop of anything and not even a snowflake fell when DFW was getting the sleet/snow shower a couple of nights ago. So it is still very dry in our area. As of this morning as of 8:45 a.m., we actually have sunny skies for a change and are preparing for somewhat of a warm-up for the upcoming weekend. This morning we have a current temperature of 39 degrees...still chilly this morning but we are expecting to get up into the mid-50's today which is definitely warmer than the temperatures we have been having. The weekend looks especially nice with anticipated temperatures in the mid 60's to low 70's and sunny skies. Right now they are calling for windy conditions for the weekend as well, but we'll just have to wait and see. Without further hesitation, let's get this weekend started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:45 a.m.

A very cold past week...but no precipitation (rain or snow).

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Should come as no surprise...NO precipitation received this week.

RED RIVER
With no precipitation received, there has been no changes with the Red River ...it is down and still remains at a very low level.

RRMT, Inc. Staff
TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT RENEWING YOUR RRMT, INC. MEMBERSHIP FOR 2009! OR FOR THOSE NON-MEMBERS...START THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING A 2009 MEMBERSHIP!

Existing RRMT, Inc. 2008 Members

RRMT, Inc. will be mailing about renewal notices to all its 2008 members the week of November 3, 2008. The renewal notices will go out in batches according to last name. As of November 3, registration will open for RRMT, Inc.’s existing 2008 members wanting to renew for 2009. Existing members may renew their memberships at the park office or may mail their information in. Regardless, in order to expedite your renewal, (whether you will be renewing at the park office or via mail), you must use the renewal application that was sent to you. This renewal application already has your information on it as well as your member id which will help us when renewing your membership. Be sure to read your renewal packet carefully...we have a special renewal promotion going for existing 2008 members...RENEW on or by December 14 and earn a free ride (or two!). (Only valid for ADVENTURERS and LONE STAR EXCURSION member packages. Refer to your renewal packets for more information.)

Four Reminders For Current 2008 Members...

1. ** Please note that those members with current outstanding RRMT, Inc. account balances will not be able to renew their memberships until their accounts are settled with the park office. You will be notified in your renewal packet if you are one of these individuals. If you do have an outstanding balance and have any questions, please feel free to call or email us. We are happy to explain your account to you. **

2. ** Members' Membership Renewal Packets will be mailed to the address that RRMT, Inc. has on file for that member. If you have recently moved and not notified RRMT, Inc. of your new address, you may be in danger of not receiving your packet. It is your responsibility to notify RRMT, Inc. of any changes with your account. If this issue is applicable to you...please send us your new mailing address in an email as soon as possible to ensure that your membership renewal packet gets mailed to your new correct address. **

3. ** If you are a current 2008 member and are wanting to renew your membership as well as add another family member...please do so on your renewal application. You may go ahead and join your new family member with your renewal. However, since that individual is a new member, his/her membership will technically not be effective until December 6, 2008, which is the same day that new memberships go on sale for non-members. However, as a convenience to members, we are accepting any new members that you are wanting to add to your account and will go ahead and process those new individuals with your account even though their memberships will not be effective immediately.**

4. ** Have questions about joining/renewing your children (age 10-17) as Rangers or Adventurers (age 18 and over) for the 2009 Membership Year? Let us help clarify your questions. Even though current members may renew early for the 2009 year, the age of your children for membership purposes will be the age that they will be as of January 1, 2009 if you renew early. If you don't renew early (and thus renew January 2nd or thereafter), the age that you will need to go by for your children will be the age they are ON THE DAY YOU RENEW/JOIN. **

TRIBUTE TO ALL THINGS RED BULL LMS 2005, 2006, & 2007

Instead of the normal trail/weather updates this week, we thought all of our fellow blog readers would enjoy something a little different. So if you are expecting weather, you won't be getting it...we apologize. This will be an extra long post and as a result, weather and trail conditions will resume as usual on Thursday, December 11th. At that time, we will recap the entire week. If you have an appointment this week & want to know the weather/conditions, just call our park office.

We received numerous emails back in September when Red Bull announced on their website that they would be taking a break this year. The announcement on their website was as follows:

"Red Bull Last Man Standing will take a break this year. We will continue to look for new locations throughout the US in our quest to create the most demanding and entertaining event for the motorcycling public. To stay up to date on any Red Bull Last Man Standing news down the road, signup for the newsletter below. For more information, contact Josh Whitaker at josh.whitaker@us.redbull.com."

Fast forward a few months later until today...

Well for many of you....you know what today is....1 year exactly since the 2007 Red Bull LMS Race in Bulcher! Apparently there were several people that took notice of the significance of the date.

Throughout last week and the weekend, we received several emails from people commenting on the absence of Red Bull LMS this year. One of the such emails came from a person who wrote in from out of state and just said that they had been to all 3 Red Bull LMS races and that this year, they didn't have their annual trip to Texas for Red Bull...they extremely missed it, because it was just different this year without LMS.

Another such person wrote in thanking RRMT, Inc. for hosting the past 3 Red Bull LMS events and wished that somehow the event could continue. This person from within the state commented that it had already become a tradition with their two boys to bring them to the event each year, even though they had only made it to the 2006 & 2007 races, missing the first inaugural event in 2005.

Thanks for the memories from those that wrote in. It was actually really surprising to receive the emails and it is most gratifying to know that Bulcher, Texas, the place we proudly call home, has created so many memories for people near and far. Furthermore, it's an awesome feeling to know that the terrain/LMS event here at RRMT, Inc. has been touted as one of the toughest races in the world...when compared to Hell's Gate & Erzberg, that's incredible!

Thanks to all the people....Red Bull North America, the Red River Dirt Riders, and countless volunteers and organizers who made the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Red Bull LMS races possible. It truly created a lot of memories for people that attended and for everyone here at RRMT, Inc.

We continue to get questions...is Red Bull LMS coming back? Or will there ever be another Red Bull LMS held somewhere else? All great questions, but none that we have answers to. We all will just to have wait and see.

In the meantime, during this joyous holiday season, we all should be thankful for the great memories that this awesome event has created in our lives and the lives of others. Some of these memories will last a lifetime. With that, we have put together our tribute of Red Bull LMS 2005, 2006, & 2007. Enjoy your journey of the past 3 years' races via our picture tribute by race year.

This new policy is only valid for visitors camping Saturday night. (This new policy will not affect Saturday day only visitors.) Furthermore, members and their guests will still be able to pay daily and not in advance.

** IMPORTANT MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT **

Effective August 30, 2008 -- RRMT, Inc. Members will be required to present their RRMT, Inc. Membership Card as well as a second form of picture id (unless RRMT, Inc. park staff can verify your identity) upon sign-in at the park office.

Prior to this, RRMT, Inc. had been lenient on requiring member identification; however, unfortunately due to a recent case of membership misuse of the card, now there will be LIMITED EXCEPTIONS! The only exceptions will be: (1) If park staff can verify your identity with or without some second form of identification or (2) If you are an individual that just recently signed up for a membership and have not received your membership card yet...please tell us upon arrival. RRMT, Inc. obtains a list of all memberships still in the que and waiting to be processed. Until we can get your membership card issued to you, please feel free to use a second form of ID upon check-in & tell us who you are.

If absolutely NO form of ID can be presented, you will be required to pay visitor prices!

Furthermore, at anytime that RRMT, Inc. Owners, Management, or Staff suspect that you are misrepresenting yourself as a member, RRMT, Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

By having your RRMT, Inc. Member ID card out and ready to present upon check-in at the park office, the process of being signed in can be expedited!
