TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hola On This Frigid Sunday Morning...

Overnight, we can finally report that we received rain...6 tenths of rain to be exact. Currently this morning as of 8:45 a.m., we have very chilly temperatures (37 degrees to be exact). Furthermore, there is no sun out again today and rather it is cloudy and dreary out. Since this morning, there has been a light mist of rain falling, but nothing heavy. Thankfully the 6 tenths of rain received overnight as well as the moisture we received via sleet and snowflakes yesterday has helped tremendously...luckily all the dust we had been experiencing was finally settled. If you are looking for a comprehensive report on park trail conditions, please refer to Friday's blog.

We are OPEN today, Sunday, November 25 with hours of operation of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Just a reminder that when we close this evening at 6 p.m., we are closing for 2 weeks. We will not be re-opening to the general public for riding until Monday, December 10. Red Bull LMS is coming soon...December 7 & 8!

Final update for the evening as of 6:30 p.m....was a cold, dreary day at the park today...a fine mist fell pretty much all day just to make it damp all day. NO sun today.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Saturday Morning To You...

WE HAVE SLEET!

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 8:45 a.m., we have sleet falling....rather than rain, it is very cold here (approximately 39 degrees), so the precipitation that is falling is freezing causing sleet to fall rather than rain. Of course as of yet, no accumulation. It is currently cloudy and overcast, no sun today thus far. (And quite honestly, don't know if we will even see the sun today.)If you are looking for a comprehensive report on park trail conditions, please refer to yesterday's (Friday's) blog.

Don't know if this sleet will keep it up, but if so, here's your chance to ride in a winter wonderland in TEXAS!

Another update as of 9:20 a.m....NO precipitation falling at all now...the sleet has stopped and it is not raining either.

Final update for the day as of 7:25 p.m....WOW, what a day...let's recap...this morning and afternoon on and off, we received sleet showers and then this afternoon, enjoyed being outdoors to enjoy the huge snowflakes that were falling. The sun never made it out today. Other than the sleet and snow, that really was the only moisture we received...a few sprinkles of rain, but not even enough to measure in the rain gauge. Furthermore, despite being really cold today...no accumulation of precipitation today. Enjoy the pictures below taken at the park today!

The picture below was taken right outside our main gate...looking down FM 373...for a while (the sleet & beautiful snowflakes were short-lived) when it was coming down pretty heavy, Bulcher was a WINTER WONDERLAND!

We will be OPEN this weekend both today, Saturday, November 24 and tomorrow, Sunday, November 25 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday After Thanksgiving!
WE ARE OPEN TODAY WITH HOURS OF OPERATION OF 8 A.M. TO 6 P.M.

Overnight we can report that we received NO rain or snow, in case you were wondering :-) Currently this morning as of 9 a.m., it is nice and cold here (34 degrees), but thankfully there is no wind today...great weather! (You won't break a sweat) It is cloudy and overcast this morning, the sun hasn't made its way out yet..I know we'll be looking for it later to help warm us up. The outlook on the weekend looks good, but cold. We have received NO rain thus far today.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge report...it's been another extremely dry week in Bulcher...in fact, if you're counting...it's been 4 consecutive weeks that we've had no moisture whatsoever. Riding conditions are currently good, but cold. However, with more and more passing weeks of no moisture, dust continues to get worse. So expect dust out on the trails. Also, as a result of the dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
The summary on the Red River this week is the same as last week. (With no rain, its kinda hard for conditions to change).The river it is bank to bank but the water level has receded so that now the Red River splits and there is a sandbar out in the middle. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) has receded, but if you are not careful, getting stuck is very much a possibility since in places in the furtherest part of the creek are still muddy.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek has receded a lot. There is still some water being pushed up into the creek from the river; however, the water is not the main concern, but instead the mud is. So while riders will find that they can ride in the creek the entire way to the river, please use caution especially in the furtherest part of the creek...because we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still a big possibility. Therefore, please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. The creek is very much rideable in pretty much all the creek, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Thus, park conditions are pleasant. Hope you can make it out to our park to enjoy some fun riding weather....maybe cold, but a great campfire will warm you up. Get away from the rat race of the busy city life & Thanksgiving hustle and bustle...and escape to RRMT, Inc.! And besides, you need to get your fill of RRMT, Inc. to hold you over while we will be closed...just another reminder...only today, Saturday, and Sunday that we'll be open for riding to the general public and then we close Mon. Nov. 26 for 2 full weeks (Nov. 26 thru Dec. 9) to get ready for Red Bull LMS!!! Red Bull LMS will be truly incredible...don't miss this special event.

Final update for the day as of 5 p.m...today was a nice day...cold though. The sun did come out for a little bit today which helped warm things up a little, but otherwise, today was a dreary, overcast day. We received NO rain today.

We are OPEN today, Friday November 23 as well as tomorrow, Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the park is NOW observing fall/winter hours and thereby all riding ceases at 6 p.m.!

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 5:35 a.m., it is still dark outside but we are anticipating another day of good weather....we are anticipating it to be on the cold side (Brrrrrr) however, but with sunny skies and NO rain. We have received NO rain thus far today.

As usual tomorrow (Friday), we will be bringing you your comprehensive weekend report. But just as a reminder...We will be OPEN both tomorrow, Friday, November 23, as well as this weekend, Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that this is our last weekend to be open to the general public before we close on Monday, November 26 for two full weeks of preparations for Red Bull LMS which will take place in Bulcher December 7 & 8!

Final update for the evening as of 9:20 p.m....those at the park today enjoyed a very nice, yet COLD Thanksgiving holiday. Surprisingly enough, we even received a few snowflakes today...but you had to watch really close or you would miss them. Of course no accumulation. Also, NO rain today.

Come see us ya'll!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Friday Morning To You…Thank Goodness It’s Almost The Weekend!

NO rain overnight. Currently this morning as of 9 a.m., we have clear, sunny skies, and very chilly temperatures. The outlook on the day looks awesome & even better for the upcoming weekend. So let’s get you updated on the conditions so we can get this weekend started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

Also, as a result of the dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. Here are some pictures to convey our current trail conditions:

RED RIVER
Update on the Red River...it is bank to bank but the water level has receded so that now the Red River splits and there is a sandbar out in the middle. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) has receded, but if you are not careful, getting stuck is very much a possibility since in places in the furtherest part of the creek are still muddy. Park conditions are currently very nice....great temperatures make for excellent riding despite the dust. Whatever your outdoor weekend plans, RRMT, Inc. can accommodate them! It's Texas, but the temperatures we're currently experiencing will make you feel like you're up in the mountains...camping is excellent as well whether it be in a tent

or RV...don't forget the campfire, you will need it at night. Hope you can come see us this weekend to have the BEST WEEKEND OF YOUR LIFE! But whatever your weekend plans...HOPE THEY'RE A SPLASH!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Howdy Fellow RRMT, Inc. Blog Readers...

Overnight NO rain. Currently this morning as of 10 a.m., we have clear, sunny skies, very NICE temperatures (crazy that the temperatures are in the 80's for November), and have received NO rain thus far today. We're off to a great start for the day & it appears that it's going to be GORGEOUS day to be outdoors!

If you checked our website yesterday, you probably noticed that our 2008 policies page is consistently being updated with all our new stuff that we will be offering and will be effective January 1, 2008. We are excited to announce that today we will be releasing all of our other documents, in particular the information on upcoming 2008 amenities & information concerning the various types of memberships and visitor passes we will be offering. So be sure to keep checking back on our website as your wait is over for information. Thanks again for everyone's patience and all of you that took the time to write in over the past year on your comments and options on membership vs. non-membership. All of your feedback really helped us in forming our system...one which we feel will benefit all of our clientele whether they live near or far and whether they visit frequently or only occasionally.

Final update for the evening as of 7 p.m....GREAT weather again today to be riding! Sunny skies & NO rain. Furthermore, for those of you that have already checked our website...you've already found all the information at your fingertips regarding our new policies for 2008! We know that there's a lot of reading (Our RRMT, Inc. Handbook on Member-Visitor 2008 Benefits is indeed 35 pages long), but as you can imagine, we have spent countless hours crafting the perfect system to implement within our organization that we feel will benefit all those that enjoy RED RIVER! Also, since our new system is very detailed, we have tried to anticipate any and all questions...but again, if you don't understand something or if something is unclear, please let us know. We are here to help as we all start to operate under the new policies effective January 1, 2008. Morale of the new system though is that MEMBERSHIPS are the way to go especially if you will be visiting RRMT, Inc. even a handful of times a year...due to the benefits received and the cost of the membership dues as well as the cheaper Per Member/Per Day Park Admission Fee.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Another Monday...Another Week Ahead of Us...

First and foremost, Happy Veteran's Day! A Big Thank You To All That Serve and Who Have Served Our Country! We Appreciate You!

It seems like every other area got rain overnight. We arrived at work this morning to find that we only received a few sprinkles of rain overnight...not even enough to measure in the rain gauge. Currently this morning as of 8:20 a.m., it is cloudy and overcast with cool temperatures. We have received NO rain thus far today. We'll have to wait and see if the sun comes out today...but even if it doesn't, it's going to be a nice day today...cool and damp (thanks to the few rain sprinkles we received)...typical FALL Texas Weather.

Furthermore, this is a very EXCITING week for all of us here at RRMT, Inc. We will be releasing all of our 2008 policies (memberships & visitor passes information)....so keep checking back on our website this week for that information. Again, thank you for your patience. Thank you so much for all of our clientele's continued support. We are honored to have served you 35 amazing years and look forward to serving you many more years to come.

Final update for the evening as of 5:20 p.m....well it is Texas & we have some unpredictable weather...what started off as a cloudy day turned into sunny skies and BEAUTIFUL weather with great temperatures that we all enjoyed today. NO rain today!

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday...Finally The Weekend Is Upon Us!

Overnight we can report that we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of 8:50 a.m., we have clear, sunny skies, are enjoying great temperatures, and have received NO rain thus far today. Today is going to be a WONDERFUL day to ride; furthermore, the outlook on the upcoming weekend looks great...so Let's Get Started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:50 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. If you have started to see a pattern above in our rain gauge report...there is one indeed....it's VERY DRY...no moisture at all this week or the week before (that's 2 weeks straight with NO rain at all). As a result, riding conditions are still good, but dust continues to become more of an issue and is to be expected out on the trails. Also, as a result of the dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
Long story short...believe it or not, Red River is still bank to bank. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) is still substantial enough to make for a muddy mess down in the furtherest part of the creek. (And we just don't seem to be drying out (the mud) that much as a result of the cool FALL temperatures we have been having.)

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek continues to recede but is still more than enough to prevent some riders from being able to get all the way down to the river. On the other hand, other riders are now able to ride in the creek all the way to the river by getting up on a small strip of land on the side of the bank of the creek. However, we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still a big possibility. Therefore, please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. Nevertheless, for sure, people will discover that they can ride the majority of the way there in the creek, but once they get down closer to the river, they will have to get out of the creek upon dry land and go the rest of the way if they desire to get to the river. Because the creek is very much rideable in the majority of it, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

In summary, conditions at the park are good despite it being dry. Cool mornings and evenings with a warm-up during the afternoon make for a PERFECT WEEKEND OUTING ADVENTURE. Only 3 more weekends to enjoy RRMT, Inc. before we close for 2 full weeks (Nov. 26 thru Dec. 9) to get ready for Red Bull LMS...an incredible and unbelievable event.....come see us this weekend!

Final update for the evening as of 7:50 p.m...well today the weather was kinda strange...we saw a little bit of sun this morning, then by late morning, we experienced hazy, cloudy conditions, but by afternoon, it had cleared off again as the sun came back out. All in all, today we enjoyed pleasant temperatures and received NO rain.

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the park is NOW observing fall/winter hours and thereby all riding ceases at 6 p.m.!

It's The Weekend & We Have PERFECT Weather!

Overnight, NO rain. Currently this morning as of 10:45 a.m., we have clear, sunny skies, cool Fall temperatures this morning, and NO rain thus far today. RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 10:45 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. If you have started to see a pattern above in our rain gauge report...there is one indeed....its DRY...no moisture at all this week. As a result, riding conditions are still good, but dust has become more of an issue and is to be expected out on the trails. Also, as a result of the dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails.

RED RIVER
Same 'ole story again this week...the conditions of the Red River just don't seem to be changing much....the Red River is still bank to bank. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) is still substantial enough to make for a muddy mess down in the furtherest part of the creek.

Final update for the day as of 4 p.m....GREAT weather today...sunny skies & nice temperatures. NO rain. Time to start the weekend!
