TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hello Sunday...The Last Day of the Weekend...
What are you waiting for?

NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 10:30 a.m., we have a current temperature of 80 degrees. It is bright & sunny this morning as we anticipate much warmer temperatures today...low to mid 90's expected for highs today. However, good luck on not getting blown away ...we have a very strong breeze today. We have received NO rain thus far today. Even though it is going to get warm today, nevertheless, it should be some good riding.

SUNDAY OUTLOOK
Tips on riding Bulcher today...

* Trail riding is great. There still remains a few puddles in low-lying & shaded areas.

* All trails are OPEN, EXCEPT for Bill's Woods & the New Property. (These 2 areas are closed due to ENDURO & TORO race prep) For curious minds wanting to know, these areas will open back up in November after both races at RRMT, Inc. are over.

* Crossing Mountain Creek is possible, but we advise everyone to be extremely careful, due to lurking quicksand, especially the further you get down Mountain Creek toward the Red River.

* Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

* Just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday & Hello Awesome Fall Weather...

iRide Bulcher, Texas...Where do you ride?

View of Mountain Creek from Pump Jack Hill...

As a recap since our blog on Wednesday...NO rain Wednesday night. Yesterday (Thursday), we didn't receive any rain during the day or overnight. This morning as of 9 a.m., we have bright sunny skies but a chilly temperature of 58 degrees. We are off to a gorgeous start for this beautiful upcoming weekend...upper 70's expected for high temperatures today. We have received NO rain thus far today. If you haven't checked the forecast for the weekend, then you're missing out...the forecast is calling for absolutely perfect riding weather...hope you've made your riding & camping Bulcher plans...time to kick off the weekend.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
*Monday overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- QUARTER INCH OF RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9 a.m.

* It's been a pretty dry week other than the rain shower on Tuesday.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN..on both the North & East sides of the park EXCEPT the Bill's Woods & New Property Areas. Per our other blog announcement, these areas are closed for upcoming ENDURO & TORO race preparation. Mountain Creek is at its normal level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River where we advise riders to use caution. No problem crossing Mountain Creek at this time. With Tuesday being the only day we received rain, coupled with cooler fall temperatures we have experienced all week long, the past week we haven't really gotten out of the upper 70's. As a result, you may still see some lingering puddles of water on some of the trails in low lying/shaded areas. But for the most part, all trails will be fairly dry. One thing's for sure...NO DUST, so enjoy! Due to heavy rains back in April, just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water (from the April rains) has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low level at this tiime. There still remains some lurking murky water being pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek from the river, so watch out for it...getting stuck is possible.

CREEK
While riding in Mountain Creek is possible and crossing the creek is also possible...please use caution when in the creek, especially further down the creek toward the river. It is very possible to sink your recreational vehicle in the creek due to quicksand if not careful. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

It's gonna be an awesome weekend for a RV rental...Remember that RRMT, Inc. now offers Member RV Site Rentals on a daily basis. Reservations are recommended if you desire a particular RV Site. Otherwise, all walk-up RV Site rentals are welcome as well. Please note that in addition to these rental sites, as usual, RRMT, Inc. also offers free other campsites that are always available via first come-first serve for your convenience.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

* A sigh of relief...Sunny Friday...
* A great weekend of fall riding in Bulcher lies ahead...
* Are you ready for it...?

Even though it looked as though the skies threatened rain yesterday...NO rain yesterday or overnight. This afternoon as of 12:45 p.m. we have beautiful sunny skies & a current temperature of 76 degrees. Finally some sunshine...it's shaping up to be a great day. We are expecting temperatures in the upper 70's for highs today. We have received NO rain thus far today. If you are looking for a great weekend to get outdoors & do some trail riding...it looks as though this weekend will be perfect...with sunny skies & temperatures in the upper 70's to 80's for the weekend, don't waste another minute inside this weekend or you'll be missing out! Time to kick off the weekend...

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Thursday (Sept 10) thru Saturday (Sept 12) -- Total of 3 inches of rain received
* Sunday (Sept 13) overnight--1 inch of rain
*Monday--rain drizzle, but nothing measurable to report
*Monday overnight-- rain drizzle, but nothing measurable to report
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--rain drizzle, but nothing measurable to report
overnight—rain drizzle, but nothing measurable to report
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 12:45 p.m.

* Well this week has been strange...not a whole lot of moisture to report, just really gloomy, cloudy/overcast, & rain drizzle...until today. Thankfully today, the weather decided to straighten up just in time for the weekend...

The actual last measurable rainfall received at RRMT, Inc. was almost a week ago...On Sunday (Sept 13), we received 1 inch of rain. This week coupled with the gloomy days, it just drizzled rain a lot...again, nothing measurable to report.

**Thus, we have been getting reports that the DFW area and other North Texas areas have received a lot of rain this week...well, we did not here in Bulcher. To answer many emails, phone calls, etc...we are NOT FLOODED! Mountain Creek is just fine & is passable & thus, you can ride in it! NO PROBLEMS WITH TRAIL RIDING AT OUR FACILITY DUE TO WEATHER THIS PAST WEEK...It's gonna be a great weekend!

The cooler temperatures this week coupled with the rain drizzle received was just perfect to help settle the dust...at least for a little while. On some trails in low lying/shaded areas, you may discover a puddle or two (making it muddy on the trails in these areas), but for the most part, all trails will be fairly dry, especially with today's sun & this weekend's sunny forecast. (The majority of the mud, per say, will be in the creek & not necessarily on the trails...but please note that there are going to be some muddy areas on the trails due to these low lying/shaded areas that haven't had time to start drying out until today's sun.) Due to heavy rains back in April, just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water (from the April rains) has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low at this time.

It's gonna be a perfect weekend for a RV rental...Remember that RRMT, Inc. now offers Member RV Site Rentals on a daily basis. Reservations are recommended if you desire a particular RV Site. Otherwise, all walk-up RV Site rentals are welcome as well. Please note that in addition to these rental sites, as usual, RRMT, Inc. also offers free other campsites that are always available via first come-first serve for your convenience.

NO BURN BAN for Cooke County or thus at RRMT, Inc.

The time to get ready for the weekend is NOW...RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend...tomorrow, Saturday September 19 & Sunday September 20 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is currently observing spring/summer park hours. Reminder: RRMT, Inc. will begin its fall/winter hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting October 1, 2009.

This weekend is perfect for that "weekend trail riding" getaway that you & your family have been desperately needing...

Until tomorrow, signing off from our post Bulcher...

LABOR DAY WEEKEND DEFACEMENT TO RRMT, INC. MEMBER SHOWER & RESTROOM COMPLEX

If you're wondering why there weren't any blogs last week after the Labor Day Holiday Weekend...here is why...instead of having time to blog about trail/weather conditions for the convenience of our customers, instead, we must make time to clean up from the defacement & destruction from members (and or their guests) in the new member shower/restroom complex. This defacement occurred in the men's section of the facility.

Sometime during Labor Day Weekend between Friday, September 4 and early a.m. on Sunday, September 6, an individual or individuals defaced RRMT, Inc. property. The sad thing is not only did this happen, but RRMT, Inc. Staff had to discover it on their own. No one...no member, guest of a member, etc. ever came and reported the incident to the park office....which is very interesting to say the least.

We encourage you that if you know something, please feel free to contact the park office anonymously & report the person (or people) that did this. We will hold your name in strictest confidence if you would just report it so the rightful owners of this disgusting graffiti artwork can be punished.

For those of you that remember & read our blogs regularly, our new complex was defaced back in March after only being open for less than a week. Thus, this is the second defacing incident to occur. Luckily, the first incident, the member and his guests that did this, were caught, and banned from the park. This time, we need your help in catching who did this. We know that there are people out there who know who committed this. We'll leave it up to you to do the right thing & report them.

In light of this incident, much to everyone's dismay...there are some very significant changes coming to the RRMT, Inc. Membership Program on 1/1/2010.

This announcement comes as a result of continued abuse & disrespect for the new amenities that are being put in place at RRMT, Inc. Just recently on Friday, September 4, RRMT, Inc. opened another new amenity for members...RV pad sites. These big improvements to the park are to be appreciated and respected. We can assure you that there won't be any more new improvements going forward if this is how people are going to treat the current amenities that have been completed for YOUR benefit.

Let us remind all members...you are responsible for your guests! If a guest did this...then that member that brought that guest to the park is just as guilty!

For now, please take a look at the pictures below of the men's section of the RRMT, Inc. Members Shower/Restroom Complex. If you do know who did this, we can't stress enough...please, please come forth & anonymously report who did this.

TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Rain, Rain, Glad You Came, But Now Go Away...

Yes, Yes, and Yes...rain yesterday...1 inch & a quarter. Yesterday it pretty much rained on and off, and on and off all day long, making for a gloomy day. Overnight thru this morning, drizzle just seems to keep falling. Nothing measurable to report from the drizzle...just enough to make it damp, cold, and gloomy again today. As of this morning of 8:20 a.m., we have a current temperature of 67 degrees. We have cloudy/overcast, rain drizzle conditions today. And with the way it is going currently, looks as though it will probably do this all day long. NO sun today.

Planning to ride RED RIVER today, here's some tips:

* Trail riding is WET!!! Expect big standing puddles out on the trails. Downside: Extremely wet; Upside- NO dust!

* All trails are OPEN, EXCEPT for Bill's Woods & the New Property. (These 2 areas are closed due to ENDURO & TORO race prep)

Remember that RRMT, Inc. now offers Member RV Site Rentals on a daily basis. Reservations are recommended if you are desiring a particular RV Site. TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hello on this Friday afternoon...

As a recap from the past week...we had NO rain this week until yesterday (Thursday), we ended up receiving a much needed 1/2 inch of rain. NO rain overnight. This afternoon as of 4:45 p.m., we have a current temperature of 75 degrees. Early this morning, it was very foggy. Finally the fog cleared off, but it remained cloudy and overcast all day long. Even though it has been gloomy all day today, we have received NO rain thus far today. The weekend forecast is calling for temperatures in the low to mid 70's for both Saturday & Sunday with possible rain showers. But until we actually see the rain, we're not betting on it. Time to kick off the weekend...

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
*Monday overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- 1/2 inch of rain
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 4:45 p.m.

* Still pretty dry here even with that 1/2 inch of rain received yesterday.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN..on both the North & East sides of the park EXCEPT the Bill's Woods & New Property Areas. Per our other blog announcement, these areas are closed for upcoming ENDURO & TORO race preparation. Mountain Creek is back to its normal level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River where we advise riders to use caution. No problem crossing Mountain Creek at this time. The 1/2 inch of rain received yesterday has helped to settle the dust somewhat for now. Due to heavy rains back in April, just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low at this time.

Riding in the creek is at your own risk. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

Remember that we now offer Member RV Site Rentals on a daily basis. Reservations are recommended if you are desiring a particular RV Site. Otherwise, all walk-up RV Site rentals are welcomed as well. We still have several Member RV Sites available for this weekend...so call or email us to reserve one now! Please note that in addition to these rental sites, as usual, RRMT, Inc. also offers free other campsites that are always available via first come-first serve for your convenience.

NO BURN BAN for Cooke County or thus at RRMT, Inc.

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend...tomorrow, Saturday September 12 & Sunday September 13 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours. Reminder: RRMT, Inc. will begin its fall/winter hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting October 1, 2009.

Here's to a great fall weekend of riding & camping...

The sun is out as today is going to be another beautiful day...only upper 80's expected for highs today. We have received NO rain thus far today. Start getting excited...the upcoming weekend is a holiday one...an extra day to make for the perfect riding & camping weekend!

Our Member RV electrical sites are still under construction, but not for long. Our new Member RV sites open only a couple of days from now. They open this Friday, September 4th! Even though opening day is only a couple days away...it's still not too late to rent a site for Labor Day Weekend. We still have a few left...don't wait too long to reserve one, or they will be gone!
