RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN

overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN

* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge report...it's been a very dry week at the park...in fact, it's been 3 consecutive weeks that we've had no moisture whatsoever. Riding conditions are very pleasant due to the great temperatures we're having, but with each passing week with NO rain, dust continues to get worse. So expect dust out on the trails. Also, as a result of the dry conditions, we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. Here are some pictures to convey our current trail conditions:

RED RIVER
Update on the Red River...it is bank to bank but the water level has receded so that now the Red River splits and there is a sandbar out in the middle. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) has receded, but if you are not careful, getting stuck is very much a possibility since in places in the furtherest part of the creek are still muddy. Here is a picture of the Red River that we feel conveys the story the best:

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek has receded a lot. There is still some water being pushed up into the creek from the river; however, the water is not the main concern, but instead the mud is. So while riders will find that they can ride in the creek the entire way to the river, please use caution especially in the furtherest part of the creek...because we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still a big possibility. Therefore, please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. The creek is very much rideable in pretty much all the creek, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility. Here are some photos of what it looks like where Mountain Creek meets the Red River:

Park conditions are currently very nice....great temperatures make for excellent riding despite the dust. Whatever your outdoor weekend plans, RRMT, Inc. can accommodate them! It's Texas, but the temperatures we're currently experiencing will make you feel like you're up in the mountains...camping is excellent as well whether it be in a tent

or RV...don't forget the campfire, you will need it at night. Hope you can come see us this weekend to have the BEST WEEKEND OF YOUR LIFE! But whatever your weekend plans...HOPE THEY'RE A SPLASH!

Just a reminder...only this weekend and next weekend for riding to the general public and then we close Mon. Nov. 26 for 2 full weeks (Nov. 26 thru Dec. 9) to get ready for Red Bull LMS!!! Start making your vacation plans NOW!

Final update for the day as of 7:25 p.m...another very nice day at RRMT, Inc....NO rain today! Hope to see you this weekend!

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the park is NOW observing fall/winter hours and thereby all riding ceases at 6 p.m.!
