TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Horray For Friday & The Weekend!

Yesterday...another exceptional awesome day...beautiful weather and NO rain. Overnight, believe it or not, we received 3 tenths of rain. Currently this morning as of 9:15 a.m., we have bright sunny skies and it's very windy. We have a current temperature of 60 degrees. We are expecting a really nice and sunny day with temperatures reaching the upper 70's today. We have received NO rain thus far today. With an outstanding forecast on the horizon for the weekend...without further hesitation, we're ready to get the weekend started!

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) For the most part, another dry week at RRMT, Inc. except for the 3 tenths of rain we received last night. As a result, our trails are for the most part, still very dry. Our soil soaked the moisture right up. No dust at the moment, but by the weekend, dust can be anticipated.

RED RIVER
The Red River still remains bank to bank. As a result, be on the lookout for water that has been pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River. Particularly in the creek, you must be on the lookout for unexpected areas of quicksand that lurks in the creek...you need always be careful to avoid any quicksand because getting stuck is always a possibility!

CREEK
Riders will find that they can ride in the majority of the creek with no problems, but be especially careful when riding in the creek down towards the mouth of the river...quicksand lurks and getting stuck is a possibility and NO fun. But since riders can ride in the majority of the creek, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

The forecast is calling for sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70's for both tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. A weekend forecast just doesn't get any better than this. Load up your stuff, the grill and camping gear, and get on out to Bulcher. Because everyone needs a STRESS-FREE weekend every now and then. See you this weekend!
