TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday!
Greetings on this Friday morning. NO rain yesterday or overnight. We have a current temperature this morning as of 8:50 a.m. of 76 degrees. The sun is already out and shining brightly this morning. Should be a nice day with temperatures getting up into the low 90's again today. We have received NO rain thus far today.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Tuesday-- NO RAIN

* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:50 a.m.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) For the most part, it's been a dry week except for the 1/2 inch of rain we received earlier in the week. However, that moisture is long gone by now. Thus, dust is to be anticipated and don't expect to see any mud puddles out on any of RRMT, Inc.'s trails.

RED RIVER
While the Red River is bank to bank in some areas, a big sandbar is now evident. Since the river has receded, the amount of water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek is becoming non-existent...but regardless, still be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand that still lurks and can sink your bike if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level and the amount of water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River is non-existent. Thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.
