TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Finally Friday...

NO rain yesterday or overnight. This afternoon as of 2:30 p.m., we have a current temperature 69 degrees. It is bright and sunny...and a FANTASTIC DAY. Wow...what a Friday! It is somewhat breezy today, but nothing too bad to complain about considering the temperatures. We have received NO rain thus far today.

The weekend forecast looks bright....sunny skies and great temperatures expected all weekend, as the biggest rain possibility has now been moved back to late Sunday/early Monday, which is great news...no rain should spoil the weekend or so they tell us...but we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks to everyone that voted in our blog poll that we had this week. We think our blog poll is growing in popularity. The first week we had the poll...there were only 14 votes casted; whereas in this past week's poll, 50 votes were casted.

As a recap on our first two polls...here are the results:

Week 1 - Question: "Where Do People Come From That Ride Bulcher, Texas?"
Answer: The majority voted - Texas!
Details: All votes except 1 (which was cast for Oklahoma) were for Texas

* As a result of week's 1 poll, we learned that the majority of people that ride Bulcher, Texas are from Texas. This leads us to Week 2's Question...

Week 2 - Question: "Which areas are Texas riders coming from to visit RRMT, Inc.? Select the nearest Texas city to your home."
Answer: The majority voted - Fort Worth!
Details: Fort Worth received 16 votes; Dallas received 9 votes; Plano received 4 votes; Frisco received 2 votes; Denton received 12 votes; Gainesville received 2 votes; Wichita Falls received 2 votes; Austin received 2 votes; and Longview received 1 vote.

Thanks to everyone that voted this past week...and remember, you can now vote on a new poll just posted this afternoon. This poll will run thru next Friday, March 12 at 9 a.m. so get your votes in!

Without further hesitation, it's now time to kick off the weekend!
Hooray it's Friday...Hooray it's Friday...Hooray it's Friday!

Also...don't procrastinate another day...spring break is just around the corner & many have started making their riding plans. As a result, our member RV rentals are booking up. Get your reservations made today if you desire using electricity in the new members' area. These are a hot commodity and rightfully so...electric, pavilions, BBQ grills...a perfect camping spot with everything you need at your fingertips. HOME SWEET AWAY FROM HOME!

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN....this includes all trails on both the North & East sides. Bill's Woods & the New Property are both open as well...ENJOY!

Mountain Creek is at its normal level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River where we advise riders to use caution. No problem crossing Mountain Creek at this time. As always we would like to remind everyone that just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water (from the April 2009 rains) has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

It's the perfect weekend because due to the nice weather we have had this week (other than Monday)...we were able to do some drying out with all the great temperatures. As a result...riding conditions will be awesome. Dust will be minimum and trail conditions are really good. The only place where riders will experience any puddles will possibly be in low lying/shaded areas on trails but puddles will be few and far between.

Riders to RRMT, Inc. will now find that RRMT, Inc. has over 30 new point of interest signs installed out on the trails. These are a great new addition to the park & we are very proud of them! These signs will help you catch the iRide Bulcher, Texas fever as you continue to learn about the various unique parts of the RRMT, Inc. Facility!

** Please note that as of the winter riding season, our sign project has been put on hold. We will resume crafting and putting up the rest of these signs probably in the spring time frame, when all winter weather is completely over with!

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at its normal level. There still remains some lurking murky water/quicksand being pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek from the river, so watch out for it...getting stuck is always a possibility in certain areas in the creek.

CREEK
While riding in Mountain Creek is possible and crossing the creek is also possible...please use caution when in the creek, especially further down the creek toward the river. It is very possible to sink your recreational vehicle in the creek due to quicksand if not careful. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

WEEKEND RV RENTALS
Do you have your RV Rental for this weekend? RRMT, Inc. offers Member RV Site Rentals on a daily basis. Reservations are recommended if you desire a particular RV Site. Otherwise, all walk-up RV Site rentals are welcome as well. Please note that in addition to these rental sites, as usual, RRMT, Inc. also offers free other campsites that are always available via first come-first serve for your convenience.

* As of today, we still have several RV rentals for this weekend for those interested.
