TRAILS/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Friday Morning To You...

Lucky For All Our Fellow Blog Readers...today is PHOTO FRIDAY...just in time for everyone to start thinking about their weekend plans.

First and foremost, we received NO rain overnight. This is probably a surprise to most as it seems as though everywhere else including the DFW metroplex received rain, but none at the park.

Currently as of 10:25 a.m. this morning, we have clear, sunny skies, and NO rain thus far today. Not only today, but throughout the upcoming weekend, we are anticipating really nice weather with somewhat cooler temperatures (in the 80's and possibly lower 90's). So all in all, we are excited about another great weekend of trail riding in Bulcher.

Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 10:25 a.m.

This is our second consecutive week of NO rain. There is no doubt that it is dusty, particularly on the trails. Puddles, especially on the trails are minimal if you happen onto any at all. Here's all we found...and as you can tell, it is well on its way to being dried up...

Since we have had no weather changes since August 4th, you are still welcome to refer back to the pictures we posted for that day to use as a guide. But we have included a few more today as well.

Here are some pictures of our trails and what they look like currently...

The Red River is still bank to bank, per the picture below...

It is still slowly receding, but it is a slow process. Since the river is still bank to bank, it still has some water pushed up into the mouth of the creek where it meets the river. Therefore, while the majority of the creek can be ridden in, once you get to this furtherest part of Mountain Creek, you will not be able to ride in it because of the water, mud, and quicksand. So please enjoy riding in the creek, but it is not advisable that you try to ride in this furtherest part of the creek due to the possibility that you will get stuck.

Since you can ride in the creek and since the creek can be crossed in a majority of areas, riders can access the facility's trails on both the North and East sides of the property. All of our trails are OPEN. Again, we are NOT FLOODED. Below, please find four pictures taken of the creek at various points from the property:

In summary, conditions are great for riding at RRMT, Inc. this weekend. We hope Bulcher, Texas is your chosen destination this weekend.

At the end of the day, life just doesn't get any better than this...sitting under a shade tree without the noise of the hustle and bustle of city life. Life moves at a slow pleasant pace here in the country. Everyone says hello & waves. How refreshing...so what are you waiting for?

Get on out to Bulcher to experience Texas country at its finest...its just YOU, YOUR BIKE, and the GREAT OUTDOORS!

Hope you can make it out this weekend to start your ADVENTURE!

Here's your final update for the day as of 4:50 p.m....NO rain today as of now. We enjoyed sunny skies today & nice weather. Hope to see you out on the trails this weekend.

We will be OPEN this weekend...both tomorrow, Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Happy Trails,
RRMT, Inc. Staff
