TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Finally The Much Anticipated Weekend Is Upon Us!

NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 9:20 a.m., we have a current temperature of 82 degrees. It appears as though it is going to be another hot day with temperatures expected in the mid-90's today. The sun is out and it's warming up fast. We have received NO rain thus far today. With no further hesitation, we're ready to get this weekend started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- 1 Inch Of Rain
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9:20 a.m.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) Except for the 1 inch of rain we received on Tuesday, it’s been a really dry week. Our soil needed the moisture so badly that the 1 inch of rain we received earlier in the week is long gone by now. Expect dust. Also, no need to fret about any mud puddles out on any of the trails as they are non-existent.

RED RIVER
The Red River continues to recede due to being dry. Since the river has receded, the amount of water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek is becoming non-existent as well...but regardless, still be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand in the creek that still lurk and can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level and the amount of water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River is non-existent. Thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Summer vacation is flying by...don't let it pass you by without riding RED RIVER this weekend! Get out the roadmap and make Bulcher, Texas your destination this weekend.

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend, tomorrow, Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Members, Guests, & Visitors Welcome This Weekend!

Happy Trails,
