If you didn't kick off your weekend yesterday, then today's the day! NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 6:50 a.m., we have a current temperature of 74 degrees. We are expecting temperatures in the mid-90's again today. We have received NO rain thus far today. With a phenomenal holiday weekend forecast ahead...let's get the weekend started!
RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) The second consecutive week of no moisture at RRMT, Inc. Thus, dust should definitely be expected. Furthermore, no need to worry about any mud puddles out on any of the trails as they are non-existent.
RED RIVER
The Red River continues to recede. Since the river has receded, the amount of water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek is becoming non-existent as well...but regardless, still be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand in the creek that still lurk and can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.
CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level and the amount of water pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River is non-existent. Thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

RRMT, Inc. is OPEN to Visitors, Members, and Guests in observance of the July 4th Holiday today, Friday July 4. In addition to today, we will also be open tomorrow, Saturday July 5 and Sunday July 6. If you plan on coming out to the park on any of these days anytime between our normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.....then NO appointment is needed. We will check you in at the park office upon arrival.
