TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hello Friday...

Overnight, we received 4 tenths of rain. This morning as of 10:15 a.m., we have a current temperature of 55 degrees. It is cloudy and overcast this morning & sprinkling rain. We'll have to keep you updated if these sprinkles turn into any substantial amount of rainfall. We are expecting mid 60's by afternoon. The weekend is off to a wet start, but moisture for our dry soil is always appreciated.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP

overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN

* Friday (today 17th)-- sprinkles of rain as of 10:15 a.m.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Moisture late last week had just about dried up until the moisture we received late last night. As a result, there won't be any dust, but due to the recent moisture coupled with cooler temperatures, do expect various mud puddles out on the trails.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low level at this time despite recent rain. ** While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. ** Furthermore, please note that RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Despite recent moisture, please note that the BURN BAN is in effect for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. NO OPEN PIT FIRES ALLOWED.

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend, tomorrow, Saturday April 18 & Sunday April 19 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.

Hope Everyone Has A Great Weekend!
