TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Long Awaited & Always Anticipated Friday...

I RIDE BULCHER, TEXAS CAMPAIGN
Do you like bragging about your favorite riding spot? We do & you should too! As of tomorrow, 6/6/09, we kick off our iRide Bulcher, Texas campaign! We're proud of this place we call home...Bulcher, Texas & hope you are too. You can obtain these great NEW stickers FREE at our park office starting tomorrow (Saturday) morning. A great addition to the vehicle or trailer!

Some people might be asking themselves, why do you go by Bulcher? I don't see a town there now. (In your spare time, if you do some research online you will actually find that data shows Bulcher as a Texas Ghost Town with a population of 6) Why don't you just go by Muenster? Well first of all to get technical here...Muenster is 15 miles away. Many of you don't realize that there are actually closer towns/communities to the park rather than Muenster...Saint Jo is only 10 miles and other communities of Capps Corner & Illinois Bend are even closer. So if that is the case, why don't people call our location Saint Jo, Capps Corner, or Illinois Bend? A true & astonishing fact is that the Taovayas Indian Bridge/Oklahoma is actually closer to us than Muenster. It is only 6.6 miles up the road from our park entrance gate to the Oklahoma state line via the Highway. (If you swim across the river, it's even closer!) Our community of Bulcher has a proud and rich history that we are proud to share with our customers. Another installment of the iRide Bulcher campaign that people can look forward to will be the launch of our new website... coming soon. On our new website we will have a great detail of history regarding this wonderful place we call RRMT, Inc. in Bulcher, Texas.

Until then...get your FREE iRide Bulcher stickers & tell the world where you ride!

UPDATE ON MEMBER RESTROOM/SHOWER COMPLEX
People to the park this weekend will also notice another improvement that took shape this past weekend...Members especially will probably notice this new improvement since it deals with the Member Restroom/Shower Complex. There is now a black pipe fence around the entire new complex with new park benches out front of the new building. Due to congestion of people, we ask that people DO NOT RIDE INSIDE the fence on their recreational vehicles...instead, please park your recreational vehicles OUTSIDE the black fence around the new complex. This will allow for easier access in and out of the facility for everyone. We also had the concrete company here this week & soon we will be pouring a new walkway & handicap ramp going up to the facility. We are proud that we can continue to improve this facility for all our members & their guests.

WEATHER
Now onto weather...the time to ride is this WEEKEND!
NO rain overnight. This morning as of 9 a.m., we have a current temperature of 68 degrees. With sunny skies already, we're looking to top out at 90 degrees today. We have received NO rain thus far today. Interesting enough, today is anticipated to be the "cool" day. We are anticipating a sun-filled weekend, but the forecast is calling for a hot one...low 90's for both Saturday & Sunday. Nevertheless, a sunny weekend is better than a rainy one...time to kick off the weekend. Here's your usual Friday comprehensive report.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- 1/2 inch of rain
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9 a.m.

* Other than the 1/2 inch of rain we received earlier in the week...it's been a pretty dry week. That 1/2 inch of rain is long gone by now with all the sunny days & warm weather we have had this week.

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN...on both the North (Bill's Woods) & East (Pete's Gate) sides of the park. Mountain Creek is back to its normal level, except down toward the mouth of the Red River, it is all mucky in the creek. No problem crossing Mountain Creek, but we advise everyone to still use caution as the terrain is especially different down in the creek due to the heavy rainfall we received in April. All trails are dry & dust is to be expected. Due to the big rains a month ago (that changed a big part of our trail system), we are still advising people of the following: Just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water has really changed a lot of our trail system, so we advise everyone to use extreme caution even when riding on trails that you were once familiar.

RED RIVER
Red River has receded more, but still remains higher than usual at this time...still bank to bank. NO sandbar. As a result of the higher level of the river, a lot of water from the river has been pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek, preventing riders from riding all the way down Mountain Creek to the River.

CREEK
While riding in Mountain Creek is possible and crossing the creek is also possible...please use caution when in the creek, especially further down the creek toward the river. It is very possible to sink your recreational vehicle in the creek due to quicksand if not careful. Riding in the creek is at your own risk. Please note that if you get stuck, RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out!

ATV T-SHIRTS FOR SALE
We wanted to let everyone know that we haven't sold out of all our ATV T-Shirts yet...we still have several ATV T-Shirts Available For Sale! Prices are low in order to sell out of these t-shirts so we can make room for new park inventory. These t-shirts are 1 t-shirt for $6.00 or 2 t-shirts for $10.00. Help us sell out of these t-shirts so we can get new park merchandise! These ATV T-Shirts are on sale at this new price until we sell out!

CAPS & KOOZIES FOR SALE
We also still have our park caps & koozies on sale....caps are $8.00 and koozies are $2.00. These items are on sale at these new prices until we sell out!

Last but not least...Don't forget...* This weekend is Member Appreciation Weekend...Members ride/camp for half price...$5.00 per member/per day! An even better reason to get out of the house & on the trails this weekend.

Happy Weekend...
