TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Day Ya'll...Happy Friday!

Overnight we received NO rain. Currently this morning as of noon, we have AWESOME weather today...sunny clear skies, wonderful COOL fall temperatures, and NO rain thus far today. Another Exciting Weekend Is Upon Us....Let's Get Started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

* Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 12:00 p.m.

Per the rain report above, we have had a VERY DRY week! NO rain at all this week...the last rain we received was last Saturday, which wasn't much...only 1 tenth of rain.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions....

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN both on the North and East sides of the facility. Per our rain gauge recap above, conditions are VERY DRY at the park...we do not anticipate riders seeing any puddles or mud out on the actual trails. Expect a lot of dust out on the trails.

RED RIVER
The same 'ole story again this week...Red River is still bank to bank and still relatively high in comparison to what it is usually like during this season. The amount of water that the river has pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek (where it joins the Red River) continues to recede.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek continues to recede but is still substantial enough to prevent some riders from being able to get all the way down to the river. On the other hand, other riders are now able to ride in the creek all the way to the river by getting up on a small strip of land on the side of the bank of the creek. However, we still must emphasize that there is WATER, MUD, and QUICKSAND in the creek and getting stuck is still a big possibility. Therefore, please use caution when riding in the furtherest part of Mountain Creek down towards the Red River. Nevertheless, for sure, people will discover that they can ride the majority of the way there in the creek, but once they get down closer to the river, they will have to get out of the creek upon dry land and go the rest of the way if they desire to get to the river. Because the creek is very much rideable in the majority of it, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

In summary, current conditions at the park are really nice. While we have had a dry week, we still have enjoyed really nice temperatures, particularly today. We are anticipating this great weather to continue throughout the upcoming weekend. With that being said, this weekend has never been a better time to come out to RRMT, Inc., particularly if you never have visited us before...check out everything our facility has to offer. We can assure you that after a trip to Bulcher, you won't want to leave!

Final update for the day as of 4:40 p.m....GREAT weather today and NO rain....Hope to see you out on the trails this weekend!

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the park is NOW observing fall/winter hours and thereby all riding ceases at 6 p.m.!

Happy Trails,
