TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

HAPPY FRIDAY! FINALLY THE WEEKEND...

Yesterday was another gorgeous day...great spring/summer like temperatures, sunny skies, and NO rain. Currently this morning as of 7 a.m., day light has not quite broke yet, but we already have temperatures pushing 50 degrees. We are expecting a really terrific day today with temperatures up in the low 80's today complete with sunny skies and all. Today's Weather + Riding Red River = PERFECT WAY TO KICK OFF THE WEEKEND! We have received NO rain thus far today. So without further hesitation, it's time to get this weekend started.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP

* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN

* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 7:00 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) Another dry week at RRMT, Inc. One inch of rain late last week and all the moisture from the week before is long gone...Dust can be anticipated, but rider should not see puddles of standing water out on any of the trails.

RED RIVER
Same 'ole story...no big changes with the Red River. The Red River is bank to bank in some places, but then very narrow in other places, which has allowed the water to be split which has created various sandbars. As always, be on the lookout for unexpected areas of quicksand that lurks in the creek...you need always be careful to avoid any quicksand because getting stuck is always a possibility even when you least expect it.

CREEK
The amount of water being pushed up into Mountain Creek is extremely minimal at this time. Riders will find that they can ride in the creek the entire way to the river currently. Similarly, since riders can ride in the creek the entire way to the river, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

BURN BAN
If you haven't already saw the post on our blog or the update on our website...the BURN BAN HAS NOW BEEN LIFTED & THUS IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT! However, we still advise everyone to use extreme caution when grilling and having open campfires.

Spring Has Sprung....It's time for spring break and relaxation...we've got the perfect weather for it this weekend. See you in Bulcher this weekend!

Another reminder...this Sunday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is the KTM Riding Experience Off-Road 2008 Tour. Get on out to Bulcher to test ride the exciting, new line of KTM MX & Off-Road Machines. This special event will be held at the Red Bull Barn.

We will be OPEN this weekend both tomorrow, Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!

Happy Trails,
