TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hello Weekend...

NO rain...just beautiful temperatures. Today was another fabulous day...temperatures in the high 70's to low 80's. This weather puts us all in the mood for spring riding. If you weren't fortunate enough to make it out to the park this week to enjoy the great weather...then look on the bright side, we have a GORGEOUS WEEKEND upon us...so you still have time. With great temperatures...it's the perfect time to ride and camp. Camping during nights like this...AWESOME. For example, as of 8:20 p.m. this evening, it is still very nice out...currently we have a temperature of 73 degrees! We are expecting temperatures in the upper 70's for both tomorrow (Sat) and Sunday. The forecast is predicting windy conditions for tomorrow, Sat., but we'll just have to wait and see. So without further hesitation, it's officially the weekend.

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight—NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 8:20 p.m.

Should come as no surprise...another very dry week....NO RAIN = DUST

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. We've got dust, so just expect it! Riders don't have to worry about expecting any mud puddles out on the trails.

RED RIVER
The Red River remains at a low level at this time. ** While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. ** Furthermore, please note that RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out! The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.

CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Please note that due to extremely dry conditions...a BURN BAN is in EFFECT for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. NO OPEN pit campfires or OPEN outdoor grilling permitted.

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend, tomorrow, Saturday March 7 and Sunday March 8 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing fall/winter park hours. However, starting April 1st...we extend our hours...8 a.m. to 8 p.m....but that doesn't start until April...so get ready for spring/summer hours to start soon next month!

Please note that this weekend, tomorrow, Saturday March 7---our NEW Member Restroom/Shower Complex opens for members. Check out the blog above for more details. ENJOY!

If you haven't figured it out already...BULCHER, TEXAS should be your DESTINATION this weekend!

Cheers to a great weekend with great weather...
