TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

The Start of a Beautiful Week...

If you were ever planning a vacation week...this week would be perfect. I.e...if you haven't checked the forecast, you should. Here's this week's anticipated temperatures...don't blink...this is really it...enjoy!

NO rain yesterday or overnight. With the forecasted temperatures given...it's gonna be one great week. Today is the coldest day we'll be having in a while, as things are expected to warm up...and warm up fast. This morning as of 8:30 a.m., we have a current temperature of 32 degrees. It's sunny today, but even with the sun, we're only expecting to get up into the high 50's today. We have received NO rain thus far today.

Beginning today...is the start of 3 weeks of various spring breaks for schools both locally and across the country. If you have a day off these next couple of weeks in March or if you want to bring the kids out since they are out of school, please email us or call our park office to make an appointment for weekday park access. We look forward to accommodating your spring vacation plans.

Please note that due to extremely dry conditions...a BURN BAN is in EFFECT for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. NO open pit campfires or open outdoor grilling permitted.

RRMT, Inc. will be OPEN this weekend, Saturday, March 7 & Sunday March 8 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing fall/winter park hours.
