TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Cloudy & Overcast Sunday...

Yesterday it ended up misting rain on and off all day, but we received NO additional substantial moisture. NO rain overnight either. This morning as of 9:15 a.m., we have a current temperature of 56 degrees. It is cloudy and overcast this morning. We are only expecting mid to upper 60's for highs today. We have received NO rain thus far today. If you are looking for a comprehensive report on park trail/weather conditions, please refer to Thursday, Friday, & Saturday's blogs.

Mountain Creek still remains at a high level today. It has receded somewhat, but crossing the creek is still NOT advisable. If you choose to do so, you do so at your own risk. RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out. Thus, at this time, riding on the trails on the North side of the facility is only recommended. The trails at the park still remain wet & muddy and some of them have been washed out. So please be advised that just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water can really change the terrain of trails, so use caution when riding even on trails that you were once familiar.

NO BURN BAN for Cooke County or thus at RRMT, Inc.

Due to current conditions, RRMT, Inc. Management made a decision Thursday Morning, 4/30/09 to cancel MEMBER APPRECIATION WEEKEND for this weekend. It will be rescheduled for a weekend in the future. We just didn't think it was fair to have it this weekend with conditions like they are. Thanks for everyone's patience & understanding in this matter. Once we look at the calendar, we will be releasing a new date for MEMBER APPRECIATION WEEKEND.

RRMT, Inc. is OPEN today Sunday May 3 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome Today! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.

P.S. See below in Thursday, Friday, & Saturday's blogs for pictures & more news on park conditions.
