TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Good Saturday Morning...

NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 7:45 a.m., we have a current temperature of 59 degrees. It is cloudy/overcast and actually foggy this morning. It is starting out as a dreary, gloomy day with a fine mist falling currently. Temperatures are only supposed to be in the upper 60's today. If you are looking for a comprehensive report on park trail/weather conditions, please refer to Thursday & Friday's blogs.

As of this morning, Mountain Creek is still pretty wide & high...thus, crossing the creek is NOT advisable & if you choose to do so, you do so at your own risk. RRMT, Inc. is under no obligation to tow you out. Thus, at this time, riding on the trails on the North side of the facility is only recommended. The trails at the park still remain wet & muddy and some of them have been washed out. So please be advised that just because a trail was there on your last ride...don't expect it to be there on your next ride. Water can really change the terrain of trails, so use caution when riding even on trails that you were once familiar.

NO BURN BAN for Cooke County or thus at RRMT, Inc.

Due to current conditions, RRMT, Inc. Management made a decision Thursday Morning, 4/30/09 to cancel MEMBER APPRECIATION WEEKEND for this weekend. It will be rescheduled for a weekend in the future. We just didn't think it was fair to have it this weekend with conditions like they are. Thanks for everyone's patience & understanding in this matter. Once we look at the calendar, we will be releasing a new date for MEMBER APPRECIATION WEEKEND.

RRMT, Inc. is OPEN this weekend Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3 with park operation hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend! Please note: RRMT, Inc. is now observing spring/summer park hours.

P.S. See below in Thursday & Friday's blogs for pictures & more news on park conditions.
