TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hola On This COLD, VERY COLD Sunday!

NO rain overnight. This morning as of 9:10 a.m., we do have clear, sunny skies, but unfortunately the sun isn't doing much to warm us up as we have a current temperature of 18 degrees. Due to the wind/wind chill, it feels like 3 degrees out there....yes, do a double take...feels like 3 degrees! BURRRR! We are only suppose to "warm-up" to 36 degrees today. We have received NO rain thus far today. If you are looking for a comprehensive report on park trail/weather conditions, please refer to Friday's blog.

Today is shaping up to be so cold that it might just be the perfect day to sit by the fire, relax, and get those last minute holiday to do's done, so you have time next week and weekend during the holidays to ride and camp-out when conditions may be more pleasant.

Please note that 2009 RRMT, Inc. Memberships are now on sale! Feel free to mail in your application for 2009 to our park office or just bring it to the park office on your next trip to RRMT, Inc. They too may mail in their renewal applications or bring their renewal information to the park office upon their next visit.

Please note that due to extremely dry conditions...a BURN BAN is now in EFFECT for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. No open pit campfires or open outdoor grilling permitted. Furthermore, due to the severity of the situation, for those of you that are planning your Christmas and New Year's vacations at RRMT, Inc., no fireworks will be permitted during the holidays due to the burn ban.
