Good Saturday Morning!
NO rain yesterday or overnight. This morning as of 7:20 a.m., we have a current temperature of 30 degrees. Burrrrrrrrr! Daylight is gradually breaking and with it, the sun is trying to make its way out from behind the clouds. We are expecting a very nice day in Bulcher today...sunny and temperatures in the lower 60's....perfect weather to be outdoors. We have received NO rain thus far today.

No surprises...we haven't seen rain in weeks here in the Red River Valley!
TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility, including Bill's Woods & Pete's Gate. Yet another extremely dry week, so expect dust!
RED RIVER
With no precipitation in weeks, the Red River really has not endured any changes...it is down and still remains at a very low level. While you may ride in our creek area, be on the lookout for creeping amounts of quicksand towards the end of Mountain Creek as you can sink your recreational vehicle if not careful. The only place where mud/quicksand will possibly be an issue is in the creek and NOT on trails.
CREEK
Creek riding is not a problem as Mountain Creek is at a low level. The creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.
For those of you that are counting down...approximately 30 more minutes until 2009 memberships go on sale for non-2008 members! They will be on sale starting at 8 a.m. this morning.
