TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

Happy Friday!
The Weekend Is Upon Us...

If you've watched Red Bull LMS 2007, you might be wondering where's the famous "Wall" located at RRMT, Inc.? Here's a photo of "The Wall." It is located on the east side of Mountain Creek behind the Red Bull Barn.

Yesterday a nice day, but windy. We did receive a couple of sprinkles of rain yesterday, but just enough to wet the ground and not even enough to measure.

Overnight, we received a quarter of an inch of rain. Currently this morning as of 9:05 a.m., we have sunny, clear skies and temperatures right at 50 degrees. We are expecting a nice day with temperatures getting up to 70 today with some wind anticipated. We have received NO rain thus far today. With no further hesitation, let's get this weekend started!

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--NO RAIN
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- A few sprinkles of rain in the afternoon, but not enough to measure
overnight-- Quarter of an inch of rain
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 9:05 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) For the most part, another dry week at RRMT, Inc. except for the quarter of an inch of rain we received last night. As a result, our trails are for the most part, still fairly dry, but the rain helped settle the dust and make riding conditions AWESOME!

RED RIVER
The Red River still remains bank to bank. As a result, be on the lookout for water that has been pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River. Particularly in the creek, you must be on the lookout for unexpected areas of quicksand that lurks in the creek...you need always be careful to avoid any quicksand because getting stuck is always a possibility.

CREEK
Riders will find that they can ride in the majority of the creek with no problems, but be especially careful when riding in the creek down towards the mouth of the river...quicksand lurks and getting stuck is a possibility and NO fun. But since riders can ride in the majority of the creek, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

It's April in Texas....PERFECT riding weather! You are going to wish you could have these weather and riding conditions back when hot Texas August weather arrives. With a great weekend on the horizon, now's the time to dust off the bike and riding gear and head on out to Bulcher for your very own off-road adventure!

We are OPEN this weekend, both tomorrow, Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!

Happy Trails,
