TRAIL/WEATHER CONDITIONS

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY!

Yesterday another nice day...but on the cool side, windy, and NO rain.

Overnight, 2 tenths of rain! Just perfect enough to help settle the dust and wet the soil, making today an AWESOME day for riding. The sun is on its way out...it's gonna be a GREAT DAY! This morning as of 10 a.m., we have temperatures approaching 50 degrees. We have received NO rain thus far today. Today is going to be on the cooler side, but it's the perfect start for an outstanding weekend that is ahead...

RRMT, INC.'S RAIN GAUGE RECAP
Just as a recap, leading up to today, here are this week's rainfall totals that we pulled off each of our daily blogs from the week:

*Monday--A few sprinkles of rain - nothing measurable
overnight-- NO RAIN
* Tuesday-- NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Wednesday--NO RAIN
overnight--NO RAIN
* Thursday-- NO RAIN
overnight-- 2 Tenths of Rain
* Friday-- NO RAIN as of 10 a.m.

Here's your usual comprehensive Friday report on detailed park conditions...

TRAILS
All of our trails are OPEN on both the North and East sides of the facility. (Except Bill's Woods & the New Property still remain closed at this time.) Another fairly dry week here in Bulcher except for the 2 tenths of rain overnight. For the most part, our trails are dry, but there is always that occasional mud puddle, particularly in shaded areas. Dust should not be that big of a problem.

RED RIVER
The Red River still remains bank to bank with no sandbar. As a result, be on the lookout for water that has been pushed up into the mouth of Mountain Creek where it meets the Red River. Particularly in the creek, you must be on the lookout for unexpected areas of quicksand that lurks in the creek...you need always be careful to avoid any quicksand because getting stuck is always a possibility.

CREEK
Riders will find that they can ride in the majority of the creek with no problems, but be especially careful when riding in the creek down towards the mouth of the river...quicksand lurks and getting stuck is a possibility and NO fun. But since riders can ride in the majority of the creek, thus the creek is crossable in a number of areas so riders may easily access the trails on both the North and East sides of the facility.

Temperatures look bright and sunny for the upcoming weekend. There's No Better Way To Spend A Weekend Than Being Outdoors...Riding, Camping, Cooking Out...Don't Worry If You Don't Want To Go Home At The End Of The Weekend, We'll Let You Stay!

We are OPEN this weekend, both tomorrow, Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 with hours of operation each day of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. * Please note that this is the first weekend of RRMT, Inc.'s extended park hours...until 8 p.m. as we are now observing spring/summer park hours.

All Members, Guests, and Visitors Welcome This Weekend!
